Aug 4, 2022Power and feminism do not make this album a masterpiece. Destiny's Child in the 2020s? Already seen. Nonetheless, the musicianship holds battino and the twins' vocals give ample room to soak in and dance. go beyond the cliché of the African American woman angry at the monod, and wrestle on the pillars already founded by early 20th century female artists

Aug 5, 2022Ambitious rock metal bangers by two enigmatic brits. Nova Twins sound like a nu metal dream blended with the melodic reverb of 90's rock. They keep it interesting most of the way. Feels similar to Rina Sawayama.

Nov 4, 2022Production wise a good album. Lyrically average. Musically under average. Overall nothing special.

Jun 24, 2022In lesser hands, an album that at times sounds like R2D2 breakdancing in an industrial spin-dryer might make for trying company. Yet, for all their Day-Glo stridency, Nova Twins not only know how to write songs, but how to arrange them too.
