This album shows drake at his best, full of bangers and excellent features. The album has got a good variety of different sounding songs, some hype, some chill and marvins room. My favourite songs have got to be The Ride or Take Care

Take Care is an album that I feel is Drake at his most emotional and at his lyrically best. It is the combination of moody R&B and Rap that Drake is known for done the best. The sadder songs are usually all introspection done right and really puts in the mind of heartbroken Drake. The songs that are more pure hip hop songs include the best rapping that Drake has ever done. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. as such not a fan of drake, I started my adventure in his discography by this album. The first two tracks - Over My Dead Body and then Shot for Me - made me realize I was about to hear something especial - and I was right. In Take Care, a romantic heartbroken Drake shows his most intimate feelings behind his gangster posture, sometimes even talking directly to the girl - who’s supposed to be listening to the album - about how he feels. The whole album is linear, even when he’s not all about his feelings. I have my favorite ones, specially Shot for Me (which has been my most listened track during the whole month) but the whole concept works perfectly. It’s definitely the kind of album I’ll play from the start till the end while driving my car. At the end of my adventure, I may not remain the biggest fan of drake, but certainly I’m already a great fan of Take Care. Expand

I give this album a 4 because it's actually an OK album. And I don't understand why this album get so overhyped and over-praised. This album is overrated. Nothing new and nothing special. The only song that I like from this album is "Take Care" with Rihanna which is well-balanced, has great production and nice catchy beats. All of his other tracks are OK. Some tracks are bad. This album is probably one of the funnest albums that has inspired a new generation with its refined use of two essential genres.

The collabs in this album are that of Drake's personal Dream Team, and manages to make these tracks all the more entertaining. This album's thrilling pace will drag all kinds of music listeners into the conscious of the 6 God himself.

However, it is fair to point out this album has a couple of flaws. Some of the few filler tracks on this album seem to be unnecessary lengthy, especially Cameras/Good Ones Go, but it refuses to disappoint as it goes heavy with the more dynamic songs of this great piece.

Undoubtedly Drake's best album, and a good boost to Drake's name.

From top to bottom, this album maintains a consistent message and theme, while never forgetting to maintain musical integrity and originality. The beats on this album range from hype to smooth, and from goofy to somber. The amount of radio hits on this album alone provides it with notoriety; however, this album introduced to me the power music has over the emotions. Songs like “Underground Kings” and “Headlines” evoke a sense of confidence, pumping me up and making me want to compete, while songs like “Marvin’s Room” and “Doing it Wrong” provided me with music to help me cope with relationship problems. In a generation of arrogant youth, this album was necessary to represent how quickly feelings can change and how crucial handling these emotions is.
