Feb 28, 2023Lyrically is not interesting and if it weren't for the singles, it would be a total scrap.

Aug 24, 2022With some of her biggest songs Talk that Talk first for songs are frankly the best part of the album. A top heavy ccompilation of potential hits rather than an actual album. Rihanna 6th studio album still finds her directionless
-
Aug 24, 2022Rihanna showed us with this work that she is an excellent trend maker, in addition to the greatest hitmaker. Talk That Talk will always be the reference of the EDM.
-
Aug 21, 2022rihanna doesn’t have a single bad song in her discography. it’s my least favourite album of hers but it’s still enjoyable

May 17, 2021Para mim tinha tudo para ser o álbum mais aclamado da carreira da Rihanna. Porém a divulgação do álbum como um todo não foi das melhores, exceto para "We Found Love"...
-
May 8, 2021It's not her best one but it's not that bad. It mostly has a dance sound. My favorites are You Da One, Where Have You Been and We Found Love.

Jan 20, 2019Overall this is a solid album, at least all of the album tracks are better than just decent, and its lead single was one of Rihanna's best.
-
Sep 14, 2018Perfect! This album definitely outdid all of my expectations. Rihanna is fantastic.

Sep 1, 2017This album was Rihanna at her best. One of her best eras had finished (i.e. the Loud era), and then BOOM, she returned with the career-defining We Found Love which also propelled Calvin Harris into superstardom. The singles of this album are great, Where Have You Been is definitely one of Rihanna's best singles.
-
Oct 20, 2016The first time Rihanna disappointed me... and she did it too badly. Detestable album with boring and lame songs, Calvin Harris was the worst part of this joke.
-
Aug 30, 2016One of the worst albums of the year thus far. It shows absolutely no artistic growth, the lyrics are elementary, and the vocals are non-existent. All in all, a terrible album. Collapse
-
Aug 30, 2016Wow, Im shocked at these reviews, Not too shocked because Critics Overrate & Underrate thing all the time. Poor Rihanna, She thought she could pull off another Bâ Collapse

Jun 27, 2016Hináriooooo maravilhoso, rainha samba mesmo, só música boa. Melhor álbum sim! Não sei pq demorei tanto pra ouvir, mas agora danço, canto, rebolo horrores amo
-
Jun 15, 2016There's no denying that Rihanna is trying, and to some extent is successful. We Found Love is by far the best track on this album and one of her best songs. But you can't help but think how she has the audacity to sing a duet about doing it with her boyfriend that beat her up. That is some birthday cake that I have never heard of.

May 4, 2015Katy Perry bursts back onto the scene with her amazing second album that is full to the grim of the tongue-in-cheek atmosphere that got herkhkkjhjghjbnnnnn
-
Apr 27, 2015Aside from a few hit singles, Talk That Talk is probably one of Rihanna's least memorable albums. It doesn't have as many infectious hooks as Loud or Rated R, but it's still a pretty enjoyable album nevertheless. I can listen to the whole thing (bonus tracks included) without wanting to skip any songs, so I have to give her credit for that. Also, her vocals are pretty fantastic here, as always.

Dec 16, 2014Can be a wonderful album, good to hear, well divided, a great choice for listening at home alone or with friends.
Highlights: Where Have You Been and Brithday Cake
Lows: Roc Me Out and Watch N' Learn -
Mar 23, 2014It's good. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but it's still one of Rihanna's best albums. I think the best tracks are "Talk That Talk", "Red Lipstick", and "Roc Me Out."

Mar 24, 2013Once More Rihanna Proves She's Still Got It!
Every Track Is Just WOW! -
Mar 24, 2013I'm starting to doubt if Rihanna has any talent left. She started out so great and sensational, but where has all of that gone? Every song is drowned in autotune and many don't stand out very much, other than "Where Have You Been" and "We Found Love."
-
Dec 23, 2012I Loved Every Single Song Of This Album (Excluding Birthday Cake)
She Is Improving So Much Vocally! Deserves A Grammy 100%! -
Nov 19, 2012The Bestest Album of 2012 , in my opinion. Its difersificate, and remenber the eras LOUD and RATED R. In the first time , i doesn't like **** (Track 5) And Watch N Learn (Track 10) , but now i just hate Watch N Learn. Drunk On Love, Farewell and We All Want Love SHOULD be singles. Love this album , and my note to this is 9.

Nov 1, 2012I couldn't ever compare it to the overshadowing pop perfection that is "Good Girl Gone Bad" or her dark masterpiece "Rated R", but Rihanna puts out an album that's better than Loud. Minus the generic "We All Want Love", "Drunk on Love" and "Roc Me Out" tracks, this record is stunning - though rushed.
-
Oct 28, 2012We have a Rihanna's album every year. Just like the Christmas or thanks-giving. It's a big tradition and it's impossible to not love it. Black queen of pop. Gaga cry
-
Aug 4, 2012Talk That Talk sounds rushed and has a lack of creativity. The songs sound very basic and Rihanna sounds like she's tired. Talk That Talk lacks the energy that her previous albums have. The best songs are on the deluxe edition.
-
Jul 13, 2012The album is not her best album. It's good but it seems unfinished. Everything about it. Is much more sexual then any of her others. You may not want to buy it for your little daughter, if she's a Rihanna Fan.
-
Jun 4, 2012I love Rihanna but this is not my favorite album of hers. Rated R was amazing and Loud did not disappoint, this fell short. It was kinda obvious it was rushed and her vocals are good but a bit untouched. Best tracks on the album are "Where Have You Been", "We Found Love" & "Drunk On Love". songs like "Farewell" and "TTT" made me done with the album. but the album as a whole is just solid.
-
May 31, 2012Vocally A Amazing Album!

-
May 23, 2012i really enjoy listening to Rihanna, but ever since Rated R her songs or poorly done. every song is basically a chorus.... with maybe 4 bars in between. distrubia is one of my favorite songs because it shows what she can do. don't get me wrong the songs are great but, i would like to hear more bars not just the chorus 3 times then the next song.

Apr 7, 2012I'm so disappointed! I was expecting a great album like "Loud". This is Good but, not good as "Loud" or "Rated R" or "Good Girl Gone Bad"......

Very Good Tracks . Roc Me Out - We All Want Love - You Da One
Good Tracks : Talk That Talk - Drunk On Love - We Found Love
Quite Good Tracks : **** - Where Have You Been
Bad Tracks : Watch 'n Learn
Horrible Tracks: Birthday Cake -

Feb 3, 2012this album has its moments like Talk That Talk W/ Jay-Z, You Da One, We Found Love and Roc Me Out. Other songs were crap and i just wanted to stop playing the album. Rihanna needs to go back to "Rated R", & Good Girl Gone Bad

Jan 28, 2012Rihanna used to tour with Pop Singing Sensation Jeannie Ortega from Brooklyn which by the way, comes out with her album "Perfect Love" this Tuesday, January 31st, 2012. Highly recommed this album. Get it now online I Tunes, Amazon!!!!!
-
Jan 18, 2012Another fabulous job from Rihanna, it's her third album in three years in a row. It contains many lovely songs such as "Talk That Talk", "Where Have You Been" and "Roc Me Out", with powerful beat and great music in general. Is this an evolution of a "superstar" Rihanna to a "legend" Rihanna? Maybe. But for sure it's an excellent success of her previous album "Loud".
-
Jan 16, 2012Nothing that Ke$ha or DEV cannot do. Good album though despite the generic things she refused to use in her past albums. Bad vocals, non-creative lyrics. The fillers are Drunk On Love and Farewell.

Jan 3, 2012I'm sorry to say this, but this is a huge disappointment. It just wasn't a good album like her previous ones. One the positive side, she is a hit-maker, but some how she can't reach number 1 on the Billboard 200 Album Charts. Sorry, but I had no choice but to give her a bad review.
-
Dec 29, 2011The new album's awesome, new kind of music for Rihanna. You Da One, Talk That Talk, We Found Love, awesome songs. Another great album from Rihanna, you can't hate on it honestly speaking. Its R&B, who hates R&B? If you hate R&B well, you'll love Talk That Talk still.

Dec 13, 2011this album is a step down from 'Loud', in my opinion, which had a bit more variety. 'Talk That Talk' seems rushed and reaching for a spot that it never fully hits. the only songs I really love are "We Found Love", "Drunk On Love" and "Where Have You Been". Rihanna's voice suits the techno-thumping beats. I just wish she'd stop with the sexual metaphors already.
-
Dec 6, 2011Rihanna is amazing and so talented and this is by far one of her best albums along with LOUD. Keep up the amazing work Rihanna! The songs I like the most are Where Have You Been, We Found Love, You da One, Drunk on Love, We all want Love, Do ya thang, and watch n learn how. This album is unique and different from the others and I love it!
-
Dec 4, 2011Does releasing an album every year hurt an artist body of work? By having another album 3 years in a row, Rihanna seems to be stretching it a little bit. It feels like a collection of b side forum his previous album, LOUD. Not too bad, but not too good either.

Dec 3, 2011I Want that CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE.
This is Rihanna's best album. Give it to me like I want it! Talk that Talk baby! -
Dec 3, 2011After hearing Teenage Dream and Born This Way, I was expecting this album to pail in comparison, but it's just as good. Congrats to Rihanna for getting Album of the Year nods for her last album, Loud. This album is better than Loud. It's much edgier and harder. I love this album and you will too.
-
Dec 3, 2011FLAWLESS. The Queen kills it yet again! Flawless! "We Found Love," "Where Have You Been" "Birthday Cake" "Cockiness" all flawless. This is easily her best album by far!
-
Dec 3, 2011The record is bloody fantastic! WE FOUND LOVE is flawless and the rest of the album is just as good. No one can do what she does. It's bloody brilliant i tell you.
-
Dec 3, 2011Talk That Talk is great! Rihanna brings it hard on this ghetto album. It's all over the place in the most fabulous way. She serves you up everything and all her contemporaries are put to shame. She LET'S THEM HAVE IT!
-
Dec 3, 2011A great fun album. A Continuation of LOUD with a little bit of that Rated R edge thrown in there. It's weird to think that some strangerbetch from 2005 has been killing it every year! The album is sooooo good! Best songs are 'We Found Love,' 'Where Have You Been?,' and "We All Want Love." Beautiful!
-
Dec 3, 2011I heard Rihanna's stans talk about this album being hot hot! So I checked it out ya know. IT'S HOT HOT. That cake cake song is hot. Fire. Thee's some pop songs. There's some ghetto as hell songs too which i love. It's a great album. BEst of the year!

Feb 9, 2012Musically, this is pop without shame‑-her hookiest and most dance-targeted album.
-
Nov 30, 2011It's sure to sell on brand recognition alone, but I doubt a series of mannered and soulless hooks are going to find much life outside of the European remix circuit.

Nov 29, 2011It's easy to criticise Talk That Talk but it's actually a fun and enjoyable record.
