    Lady Gaga, sells more records this Katy, Lady Gaga receives greater reviews then Katy Perry.. but there's one thing that doesn't make sense.. Lady Gaga has no talent.. Her lyrics are not meaningful, she writes them while she is high.. This album has everything, Ballads, dance, all kinds of.. One of the favourites are Firework.     "Teenage Dream" is a nice mainstream album. It packs songs including "California Gurls", a quirky, yet summery dance tune. "Firework" and "Hummingbird Heartbeat" is beyond Katy's best songs in the album, with its strong detailed and europhic story-telling lyrics. Then comes to the more lower-than-average songs. "Pearl" is a good and pure minimal disco song, but to me, it isn't as a strong"Teenage Dream" is a nice mainstream album. It packs songs including "California Gurls", a quirky, yet summery dance tune. "Firework" and "Hummingbird Heartbeat" is beyond Katy's best songs in the album, with its strong detailed and europhic story-telling lyrics. Then comes to the more lower-than-average songs. "Pearl" is a good and pure minimal disco song, but to me, it isn't as a strong song to the album. Then "E.T." is futuristic and a mean song to listen, and probably Perry's most produced songs, but it doesn't tell much than a fantasy.

    Overall, the album is although better than her debut, but we sure can't wait for what more Katy Perry has planned, and plus, although Katy might have good songs in the future, 'Teenage Dream' is with-out-a-doubt Katy's best album in her career.    … Expand

    Track By Track: Teenage Dream- super cool pop rock dance track that is very catchy, Last Friday Night- very cool and sooo catchy i love the menage a trois reference, California Gurls- Ok. Not her best track but it is certainly fun, Firework- the absolute best song in the whole album. I Love It!, Who Am I Living For?- worst track in the album, stupid, boring, whatever, Pearl- OK. Kind of boring but i awkwardly love/hate it, Hummingbird Heartbeat- best pop rock song in the album, it is sweet and beautiful.     hmmm, The only bad track is "Peacock", the rest is OK, is better than One of the Boys but it can be better. The best tracks are "California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", "E.T." and "Firework"

    A good pop album throughout. It has catchy songs and great beats that could be enjoyed by anyone. But this album is lacking in two things, great vocals and real instruments. Sure it has instruments in like 2 or 3 but it would be better if most of them had it. Also congratulations to Katy for tying the record of #1 singles off an album with MJ

    Basic but does the target. Clearly it is better than their previous work. His voice sounds more powerful, the theme of the album is different although it tends to be repetitive. Again the rhythm of the songs are in their favor. The deluxe edition of this album is also outstanding. Most recommended songs are "Teenage Dream", "Firework" and "The One That Got Away".

    Os #1 vieram como consequência do sucesso das faixas.
    Teenage Dream é o melhor álbum da Katy e não por ser comercial, e sim transparecer e passar emoção, fragilidade, felicidade e melancolia em suas faixas.

Claro que tem seus pontos baixos, assim como todos os CDS, mas nada que atrapalhe muita coisa. Firework tem a melhor letra de todas as músicas do CD, há outras divetidas como Last Friday Night e California Gurls e outras em que Katy libera à sua raiva, em Circle The Drain,Além do album ter muitos e muitos hits que renderam muitos recordes à Katy, cada música dele tem seu brilho próprio. Perhaps Perry is quite successful and full of #1, that's not what matters in a disc but its quality.     Teenage Dream marked the peak of Katy Perry's ever so fast falling career. This album wasn't meant to be amazing it was meant to create big hits like California Girls and Firework. It didn't have a strong meaning it just had a fun meaning and sometimes we need those kinds of albums.

    IS an amazing album, the sounds employed on the disc are varied. Is sweet and real compared with the teenage life. still I do not understand how there are people who criticize Perry regarding sexual references made to disc if there are artists who also do so and applauded. I believe that removing the track peacock would give a better grade to album

    Teenage Dream é o trabalho da Katy que eu menos gosto. Ele é ótimo, claro. Mas é meio subjetivo. O álbum foi o mais bem aproveitado da carreira da Katy, com 6 singles (mais dois da The Complete Confection). O vocal da Katy está ótimo no álbum, além das músicas serem ótimas também.

    So many hits in this album you know at least three songs by heart that bring you back to sunny, young and joy-full summers from years ago. The only problem I find with it is that apart from the singles, the rest of the songs aren't memorable enough and they don't work well to make a wholesome body of work.

    Since I do not know the best way to start this review, maybe I should just begin by saying I am very impressed with Katy Perry’s Sophomore album, Teenage Dream. Like its predecessor (though more on the “pop side”), Teenage Dream does a wonderful job of being a wonderful blend of rock and pop, which makes it a blast to listen to the whole way through. From catchy lyrics to ballads about lost love to the occasional slap bass, this album packs in a lot of punch.

    I wish I could include all my song-by-song commentary, but that would push the review past the character limit.

    Overall, I was very happy with Teenage Dream. I know I’m listening to this as if someone is watching a movie released 15 years ago, but I am very excited to listen to Perry’s subsequent release. This pop-rock direction she is heading in is very enjoyable and I just find myself wanting more. Her fun lyrics combined with her outstanding music make Teenage Dream a winner for me, and should also be a hit for the greater pop community (some rock fans may really get down with this as well, like I did). Highlights: Teenage Dream, Last Friday Night, California Gurls, Firework, Circle The Drain, The One That Got Away, E.T., Pearl, Hummingbird Heartbeat, Part Of Me, Wide Awake, and Dressin’ Up.    … Expand

    Teenage Dream is a good pop album... and that's what it is, it doesn't try to seem deep or meaningful, an album that knows what its made for. Pop songs that are perfect for radio play, parties, or just dancing in your room to feel better about your day...
    some of the tracks are kind of forgettable but overall it's an empowering fun piece of work..

    Tutte le più grandi hit della pop star americana, che ha segnato l'adolescenza di un po' tutti noi, sono racchiuse in questo album pop. L'album non vuole stupire o provare ad essere alternativo, è un buon album pop che ha segnato questo decennio e la carriera della Perry.
    L'unica pecca solo le 2/3 canzoni abbastanza dimenticabili.

    This is a pop perfection album for the last decade. Great Job, Katy! This is just your sophomore album but you already outdid yourself. The singles made justice for the entirety of the album. The tracks are just so amazing. Lyrically wise, great. Sonically, awesome. Hands down to the production.
