a 9 vote !? i better justify my rating :) first of all - it would had been 10 if skye edwards had sung the title song... but then again only morcheeba can get away with bringing out a fantastic album even after their lead singer has been replaced. each song is carefully orchestrated. the evolution (alternative guitar chords mostly) is just sufficient to not sound repetitive, while a 9 vote !? i better justify my rating :) first of all - it would had been 10 if skye edwards had sung the title song... but then again only morcheeba can get away with bringing out a fantastic album even after their lead singer has been replaced. each song is carefully orchestrated. the evolution (alternative guitar chords mostly) is just sufficient to not sound repetitive, while retaining what morcheeba fans love. the band has consistently provided new musical frontiers to the electronic scene over the last decade and continues to do so with this album. but where is skye? that voice... I simply love Daisy Martey's voice, it's wonderful. I am a long time fan of Skye but I must say that I now look forward to hearing more from Daisy. What a shame she has now left Morcheeba. The Antidote is a fanstastic album but could also be the last morcheeba album I buy

  1. A winning result.
  2. Both a total curveball and pleasant surprise.
  3. Marking not so much a revival as a triumphant rising from the ashes, “The Antidote” is a surprisingly potent and clear vision of musical intent.
