Aug 9, 2012Punch and snarl and sweetness and weakness adorn shining intelligence and sentimentality compromised by the bitterness of experience. The melodies are lilting then crashing then stabbing then bare and vulnerable. It's a great album, with great hooks and is as welcome as hot coffee on a cold hangover morning.
