This is his most complete, raw, and best project overall. Classic. Matter of fact he has four classics: SSLP, MMLP, TES, and Relapse. Yes MFker Relapse.

There is not one single bad song on this album. It's hard too pick and choose but the best tracks on the album in my opinion would be Stan, The Way I Am, and Kim

This is one of the greatest album's ever created. The **** he was rapping about was new and unique in that time and it had a big influence in rap, so it's a 10/10 no cap

The uncensored version to this album shows raw rapping skills on display with explicit lyrics with an enjoyable shock factor to a Eminem fan.

Practically Eminem at his best. While shock rap isnt really something difficult to do, Eminem mixes it with his lyrical cleverness. He throws out memorable punchlines bound to stick and he does it in a style which is clearly not simple and just thrown

What do I have to say here? This is the Marshall Mathers LP, it's legendary for a reason. Almost every song is a masterpiece, even if the lyrics put you off on the first listen. Don't get me wrong, I'm tired of "Stan" and the "The Real Slim Shady", but practically every other song is awesome for me.

An almost flawless album from start to finish. I've tried and I can't listen to any song (with "Kim" as an exception) without head bobbing. Every song in this album is in Em's top 50. Great dark yet simple beats. Love the lyrics, great storytelling, and funny when they need to be. "Stan" is my personal favorite, I can listen to this song 100 times and still get chills every time. My least favorite song is probably "Amityville", a very bizarre song, I didn't really enjoy the feature on this one. "Kim" is contains too much raw emotion to be enjoyable, still a really great song, the replacement "The Kids" sounds like something Em decided not to put on SSLP, in my opinion it doesn't really fit MMLP, but still a funny song. Overall a 10/10, every song ranges from great to masterpiece, definitely my favorite album. Expand

The Slim Shady LP was funny, but dark. This album adds an extra element to that by adding sheer, unbridled rage that shocks the listener on the first listen, yet makes sense as Eminem smartly conveys his anger into his words with metaphors and such. Overall, this album is great. It is held back by the beat selection, which could be better, but is still great. Expand

The collaborative efforts of tracks like "Bitch Please II" and "Under the Influence" make Eminem seem like an ornamental prop in Dr. Dre's ever-growing hip-hop dynasty.
  2. The problem is, as the album drags on, young Master Mathers wastes his considerable wit and opts to grouse in the guise of a rampaging reactionary. Song after song finds Eminem viciously baiting real and imagined enemies, as if that's all he knows how to do.
  3. It just isn't as much fun this time around, no matter how fresh Dre's beats are or how many worthy targets get shot down along with the innocent.
