the neptunes have once again produced a hit record only this time its for themselves. i think that the neptunes COULD have done alot better because i have heard them do it. overall a good album.

Insanely over-produced, originally weak tracks, but I'm still a sucker for cookie-cutter hop-hop. But for how much longer...

A very good cd with styles ranging from rap, rock and dancehall. Standouts include 'Frontin', 'Good girl', 'If', 'It blows my mind' (which does just that), 'Hot', 'Half-steering', 'Loser', 'Hot damn', 'Popular thug', and 'The don of dons'. Does have a few tracks tending to the filler A very good cd with styles ranging from rap, rock and dancehall. While the singing / rapping at times lets you down, the music never veers off track. Who else could get away with the minimalism of #8 Hot??? Let's see if they can resurrect the King of Pop, surely the greatest challenge of their career!

This Is The Neptunes Best Right Here. The Nelly, Vanessa Marquez, and the Ludacris track are off the hook. It has a mixture of Rap, R&B, Reggae, so it doesn't bore you with the same type of music.

I think this one of the hottest CD's of the summer. The beats are bangin' and the collabarations are sick. Neptunes definitely put it down on this joint.

I reakon it is a fuck crap album! The beats and samples sound like they're straight off a workstation. It seems the neptunes think they shit don't stink. I loved the Nerd album and I really really dig all their past productions, but Clones is just plain plastic!

As a fan of NERD In Search of... I was expecting something along those lines for this album. Instead of the funk/rap/rock of the first one we got a blend of genres with a little more emphasis on hip hop. A great album overall and I recommend it to anyone that has enjoyed the production from Pharrell and Chad all these years. Expand

  1. There are, admittedly, times when it looks like they're just showing off.
  2. With appearances from most of the big-name rappers and wall-to-wall Neptunes beats, this should be the world's greatest hip-hop compilation -- and much of the time it is.

The album is a tapestry of reggae, rock, jazz, gospel, and pop, loosely assembled on the duo’s signature bass-and-rim-shot skeleton.
