  • Summary: The Canadian band reformed briefly after it broke up in 2006 to record these six songs for the never-finished follow-up to its 2004 debut album.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 2 out of 5
  2. Negative: 0 out of 5
  1. All six tracks are taut, catchy and depressing, 'Fire In The Ocean' in particular--making you wonder what could have been had they stayed together.
  2. It's not an especially coherent set; because wonderful as most of these songs are, they'd have been better if the perfectionist band had finished them properly.
  3. six songs may only run to seventeen minutes, but for the devoted it will be a case of quality overriding quantity.
  4. The EP shows the talent they had built in a short time, while also exposing their limitations on six similarly downtrodden and key-driven tracks.
  5. Uncut

This dispiriting posthumous EP suggests there was little life left or love lost. [Dec 2008, p.108]
