As a long time Twin Atlantic fan I may be on the biased side a touch however I don't agree with some of the user criticisms that have been said it's an enjoyable album with some really good little elements that can be found For example young is a must to listen to as is keep your head up while I do agree it is not my favourite Twin Atlantic LP it certainly is a solid effort and aAs a long time Twin Atlantic fan I may be on the biased side a touch however I don't agree with some of the user criticisms that have been said it's an enjoyable album with some really good little elements that can be found For example young is a must to listen to as is keep your head up while I do agree it is not my favourite Twin Atlantic LP it certainly is a solid effort and a refreshing listen to while most alternative/rock bands are going more pop by the day Expand

I'm surprised to read the negative reviews below. This is a catchy and fun album that's enriched with McTrusty's relatable lyrics and thick Glaswegian accent. It's not going to revolutionise current music; it doesn't aim to. just take it for what it is and enjoy it.

Transparency is the sound of a band restlessly searching for a new direction and pulling it off very well.

The album emerging as willfully lo-fi, bouncing along on cheery electronica while McTrusty's almost spoken-word panic attack showcases his rich Glaswegian vocals. [Feb 2022, p.79]
  3. The record sags in the middle when the pace dies down (on ‘Haunt’ and ‘It’s Getting Dark’), but ‘Transparency’ never overstays its welcome. It may not produce the “massive hit” McTrusty once pined for, but it’s a sign there’s life in the old dog yet.
