Once again, this probably isn't an album that's going to bowl you over and set the world on fire; it's a grower. And it shows once again that Gomez know what they're going for and how to achieve it.

The music in their latest release, Whatever's On Your Mind, stays on a pop path that's decorated with tinges of folk, blues, electronic, and whatever else they feel like throwing in.

Gomez finally makes peace with the fact that it's a pop band that loves to jam and a jam band that loves to write pop songs.

Fortunately for us, Gomez is very good at it. Full Review »
