Far too gimmicky for my taste. They have basically recreated disco sounds without adding much in the way of innovation. If you're going to ape a style, pick a better style than disco. Better throwback groups (like HAIM) bring something fresh and new to familiar styles. I just don't find that here. Sexy Socialite is one of the worst songs I've heard in a while. Go ahead, laugh at tongue-in-cheek lines like, "You're a sexy socialite/ I wish you were a socialist/ Instead of worrying about your name on the list," but do so knowing that Chromeo is serious about getting you on the dance floor.

No fillers on White Women, good to go for the duration of the evening. [Jun/Jul 2014, p.84]

White Women has all the depth and staying power of a Christmas cracker joke. [Jun 2014, p.106]
