  • Summary: The ex-Suede member releases his latest solo album.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 1 out of 6
  2. Negative: 1 out of 6
  1. The music is happy and content, the sound of both success and the comfort of being established enough to make an album entirely for yourself.
  2. The lascivious lyrics have gone, replaced by monotone melancholic musings on love and loss that initially grate, but actually compliment the minimalist cello and piano arrangements. [Oct 2008, p.139]
  3. 40
In Anderson's own context, it's slight, awkward stuff. [Oct 2008, p.110]
  4. At best, his words are boring, silly or totally forgettable.
