Aug 25, 2022At times, there's the sense Tyler's charisma outweighs his content. the album's a little too long, in terms of there being quite a few "filler" tracks. The best tracks are not all that great, either.

Jul 19, 2023Review só pra lembrar a nota que eu dei pro album:
album ok, agora só escrever pra passar dos 75 caracteres. -
May 22, 2019Wolf is a part of the story Tyler creates through Bastard, Goblin, and now Wolf. In Wolf, Tyler steps away from shock value lines and starts to really focus on just making music. The lyrics are fantastic and Tyler up keeps his unique and great production. The album is littered with bangers and great tracks.

Apr 3, 2013The third album of Tyler, The Creator is the awareness of his talent. Domo23 is one of the best songs of this year. Wolf is a dark album that reminds Eminem, but can not be said the height of Goblin.

Jun 1, 2022While some consider this Tyler's best album, I would wholeheartedly have to disagree. I'm not sure if it's just me who has this problem, but I find this album very forgettable. I couldn't tell you any lyrics if you asked me to, maybe apart from the beginning of awkward. Not a bad record, just forgettable.

Aug 9, 2023Beautiful, before-Flower Boy album. It differs a lot compared to previous albums
-
Dec 19, 2020A massive improvement over Goblin I have no idea why Goblin is rated higher than this
-
Apr 2, 2013Working out the kinks from Goblin while stepping up his game big time. There's not anything here that's "Yonkers" good, at least I'm not sure that there is, but as a whole, this is a tight, solid collection of songs.

Apr 16, 2013To be blunt; it's a really great album. A lot more focused and less 'juvenile bratty' than Goblin was. The lyrical content is much more personal and engaging, and the production is retro but extremely refreshing. Tyler continues to be enigmatic and enthralling. Standouts: 48, Domo23, IFHY, Rusty.

Mar 17, 2021One of Tyler's best albums, but even if it has so many tracks (17) it is at some points inconistent and many tracks are bad and too long.
Overal, it's worth the listen and if you want to get into Tyler, The Creator, you must listen it.
8/10 -
Jun 14, 2013Tyler's grown a LOT, and it really shows here. Compared to his previous efforts, the production here is way cleaner and diverse, and the lyrics are a lot more focused and driven. This actually sounds like music...to me Goblin just sounded like one long angry rant without a real purpose, although it had some standout tracks of its own

Apr 7, 2013I'd struggle to call this music. This is pretentious whining from a sad little man with no life experience. It sounds like he recorded it in his basement on garageband. Stay away.
-
Nov 12, 2013Wolf shows that even the dirtiest rappers can evolve. The subject matter has changed here. Tyler is talking more about his personal life rather than his rape and murder fantasies. Production wise, it is really good especially "Rusty". This album is awesome.

Mar 11, 2017I like this album, it's tylers most complete album yet with a good mix of harder and softer music. But albums like WOLF aren't meant to be analyzed they aren't artistic I am sure there are people who are going to hate this album but that's the point. Tylers music isn't for everyone
-
May 18, 2019Easily tyler's best album when it comes to lyrics, and concepts, i love this album, even tho i think goblin was better, it's still an phenomenal album.
-
Apr 4, 2013Finally maturing musically-wise, Tyler paints an interesting picture of his conflicting viewpoints and grim childhood through the type of music very familiar with his fans.
-
Aug 29, 2021Until now, the piano that appears in the first song of this album reverberates throughout my head. What can I say? The story that draws you in, the videos, the music... amazing. To this day, I still have a problem between choosing Igor and Wolf as the best album in my list. Wolf is really a very good album.

Apr 6, 2022**** Sam **** Tyler’s dad **** slater **** dr TC thank you Tyler and thank you wolf

Apr 2, 2013I like it. A lot. It's as strong as Goblin... but in another way completely. I sense a maturity and patience in WOLF.

Apr 6, 2013It is clear that Tyler is maturing through his efforts into one of hip hops best new artists. This album showcases his anger in form of lyrical dexterity. Along with his fellow odd future cohorts he delivers an amazing album. Good tracks are domo23 slater and awkward

Jun 26, 2013It's complex, conflicted, and bipolar. Paranoid, even. Most of all, it reveals the harmless and empathetic character behind Tyler, the Creator's complicated persona.
-
The WireApr 24, 2013He just keeps getting better at writhing around in this narrow space of homage and usually lands somewhere just between endearing and brilliant. [May 2013, p.67]
-
Apr 17, 2013Wolf’s production features a more textured and subtle sound than we’ve ever heard before.
