A trippy reined-in take on Madlib's psychedelia across a powerfully conversational ode to person resurrection winningly contrasted against past druggy misdemeanours. [Jul 2017, p.93]

This is a great album, with continuity, thought, and passion. YOL2 is basically a snapshot of Gibbs life right now. He explains his current problems with his usual lyrical ingenuity and great flow (which is unmatched in the game right now). As for the cons there are a couple weak tracks including Phone Lit and the album I feel should have been a bit longer with this epic story being told (only 8 tracks). Also I feel like there should have been a bit more energy and passion on some tracks. Overall I rated this on how much I enjoyed it compared to other releases lately and that is a 10/10 for me.
