Ultimately, with Young as the Morning Old as the Sea, Passenger has crafted an album that, not unlike the oceans, fields, roads, and relationships that inspired it, remains with you, calling you to return.

Rosenberg's gently-rendered songs too often rely on stock images. [Oct 2016, p.96]

It's the usual earnestly proficient, blandly yearning fare, every song a Hallmark valentine set to a John Lewis Christmas advertisement. [Nov 2016, p.35]

It seems that in his hurry to vacate the trodden ground of campfire pop, Michael Rosenberg hasn’t really planned where to go. Most of the songs here are almost identical.

In my opinion,Mike Rosenberg has really delivered some seriously good music in this album. Like always, genius words and spellbinding music. In my opinion, the artist hasn't got enough stage. He is capable of having his name among the big stars and he should. About the album, I think it is really amazing. A must have, actually. "Home", "Beautiful Birds", "Somebody's" love and "The Long Road" are may favorites. Full Review »

This sophomore effort shines with the title track and dreamers everywhere will adopt "When We Were Young" as their new anthem. The golden egg lies within the beautiful melody titled "The Long Road," which will hit an emotional chord for those who feel that their life doesn't conform to the mainstream, yet still appreciate the fullness of their life. If you don't buy the album, at least give these three songs a shot and you won't regret it. Full Review »
