FancieladTFeb 8, 2005Around 28 minutes long, I'd say I could play this album five times a day and not get sick of it. At first, it errs a little on the underwhelming side, but repeated listens reveal an AWESOME album, worthy of Gruff Rhys's name. I imagine the only thing that'll make me forget this album's release is the upcoming Super Furry Animals album.

rubymarvelousJul 12, 2005it's one of the bestest album that has been released this year. I've listened to love kraft and I must say gruff's solo output pleases me more! a record to buy and cherish.

And if the production is not as sumptuous as a Furry’s album – although it’s by no means lo-fi – thematically it’s business as usual.
-
Quietly, creepily and insidiously catchy.
