I listened to it last night. I thought, I shall listen few more times - perhaps I was not paying attention, I missed something, I was listening to the wrong band ...

Nah, yah... It is still Rammstein. But...
I had continuously in the back of my head the question "Where from I know this part?" Is that 'Haifisch', no perhaps 'Wiener Blut', no-no, this must be 'Du Riechst So Gut', or is it 'Mein Teil'? It was like a quiz. I am sure the "ALTE" Rammstein would have sued the "POST" Rammstein for plagiarism in each and every song, if there was such a thing.
Strange feelings ... It was like the Two lead Guitars Boys were taking part remotely over Zoom while doing something else more interesting. Till was like lost in, and humming, old memories in the train to Moscow. Flake was reliving his Depeche Mode teen's aspirations. The Base and Drums were like "Oh, finally, it's my time. Rammstein, who?" And the Producer(s) ... they were like thinking for their upcoming, finally, post covid19 holiday in Ibiza...
I did not like a single full song! Can't believe this...
Perhaps if someone takes its time and produces a single song, like they used to do in the 80s, combining the bits and the pieces? I might have liked this song? Not sure we have enough even for this, though.
If this was the first Rammstein album I've heard, I doubt I would had looked for anything from this band in the future: Nice ... sort of ... but .... there are so many others worth it to explore and so little time ...
    Sad...
And I hope they do not put much of this in the coming Europe Stadium Tour 2022 concert I am going to. I hope, I can say a proper Adieu, Good Bye Rammstein, Yah, DEN LETZTEN WEG MUSS [ICH] ALLEINE GEHEN ...

Dieses Album hat mich wirklich enttäuscht. Sie hätten einen viel besseren Job machen sollen.

Yes, it really does nod towards Sound of Music and backs this cleverly with an illuminating barrage of steely industrial noise. Of course, the album will only truly explode into life when it surges into the live arena. A lavish and unique operatic gothic party that promises, as ever, to be a scream.

Perhaps more than any other Rammstein album, it feels like a collection of songs deliberately built to soundtrack a future series of spectacular live set-pieces. [Jul 2022, p.81]

Just as grand as one would expect from the German rockers, ‘Zeit’ is a disorienting, glorious dose of Neue Deutsche Härte. Thick with charisma and a sharp sense of theatricality, this is another certified classic.
