The rich, luscious colors somehow make the world a lot more believable than games like Crysis 2 could ever be.
Magicka might not be a perfect game concerning technical standards but is a total must have for every geek out there. The game is best played together with up to three friends, which is suported in all of the three gamemodes adventure, survival and versus.

Magicka is a perfect palliative for those waiting for Diablo III; thanks to a shining gameplay and a genuine freedom, the last title from Arrowhead is as funny as only indie titles are. Magic.
Arrowhead Studios came up with a marvelous game, but the company's excitement in rushing it to the market often creates more problems than they're worth.
Even with its flaws, Magicka is fun and fresh, and offers a new experience for RPG fans.
Confused and buggy, but very entertaining under the right circumstances. Bring friends.
I started Magicka over from the beginning six times in my attempt to give it the best possible chance I could. In the end though, I can't possibly suggest anyone spend any money on a game released in such a broken state, whether it's ten dollars or ten cents.
A brilliant game with the most innovative spell casting systems I've seen to date. Why can't more games be this creative? On the surface it seems simple, you get 8 elements and combine them into spells. This turns into hundreds of combinations though each with their own uses.
It's fun to play and the challenge of using the proper elements for a situation is great. It also has a ton of references that had me chuckling :D.

This game is very innovative, brings a fun magic mechanic. But this game have countless gliches, and the controls don't give you the best experience. There's better games to waste your money.

It is not a serious game and the game must not be taken very seriously. Mixing all these elements makes for some very interesting combinations and spells. However, the game executes this very poorly, I always struggle playing this game properly as it is stiff and sometimes I am fighting to control the character. Multiplayer lags out a lot for me and I can never seem to have a good time with my friends with it. There is a lot of potential in this game, I just feel it is wasted with all the bugs and clunky-ness. I wouldn't recommend this game.
