A perfect sequel. Expanding on what worked last time, improving what did not work, adding ideas that were missing, and taking the story to places we have never seen before. As a fan of Little Nightmares, you could not ask for more.

A refined study in creepiness, Little Nightmares II is the first game of 2021 that I have recommended to all with any interest in video games. It is a gripping adventure that soars beyond its predecessor and raises the dark fairy tale to new heights.

Little Nightmares II captures the fear of a being little in a grey, hostile and oppressive world that is exceptionally built. In a constant game of hide-and-seek, the tension is overwhelming, and you feel the weight of every heartbeat or the desperate gasping of enemies over your shoulder. Unfortunately, it's a short experience, much along the lines of the first in the series, and although it doesn't completely eliminate the weak points, it grabs on to its strong points in a sublime way.
  4. Managing to go beyond the first game, Little Nightmares 2 successfully makes you feel like you are a weak character in a twisted world.

Little Nightmares II is wonderful, captivating, creepy, and unsettling in equal measure - tapping into childhood fear and horror in a way that feels both deeply personal and like a distant, unknown memory.

Despite a couple of hurdles, Little Nightmares II remains true to the eerie, terrifying foundation built by its predecessor. It can't completely avoid comparison, but its expanded world and NPC co-op features are well implemented and make the journey worth taking.

An engaging and well-produced adventure, but regularly frustrating, both narratively and playfully.

The environment is more beautiful, the atmosphere got darker and the new characters (including bosses) are more than creatively designed. In my opinion one of the best games of all time and it is the best indie game ever made. I hope TS will get the rights back from Bandai Namco for a third entry. Expand

The horror atmosphere is what makes this game so good. Puzzles are a delight, not too hard but not brain dead. The only thing is it can be a little clunky to control at times, but then again it's like that on purpose to make the player feel insignificant and weak compared to the monsters. Expand

All the best feature from the original game are here, but like the same disadvantages, and some new few yet.

Well, I think the combat system like and the platforming gameplay have problems with a sense of the perspective of the scene and the recognition of objects in space. I guess some kind of target system could make a fight process more controllable and enjoyable. And I still have issues with slides during the run – that's don't unclear and feels like a some random triggered. At last, I want to say about situations when the animation of some characters missed a few frames – it doesn't happen every time, but that is.

AND WE NEED THE FULL CONTROLS REMAPPING FOR A GAMEPAD!

The story on the end give me ... some disappointment and empty. That's feel a like some needlessly. But I like a way that linked 1st and 2nd games.

However, that was an amazing adventure. I so appreciative for this work and experience. Thank you, «Tarsier Studios» and «BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment».
