  • Summary: This final release from the now disbanded Washington, D.C. group is a remix album, but with a twist: all of the tracks were remixed by fans in response to an invitation on DP's website, with the best entries selected for inclusion on this disc.

  1. The most amazing thing about A People's History is the diverse styles represented throughout.
  2. The sound differs, but the feel of The Dismemberment Plan bleeds through.
  3. By turns thrilling, gratifying, and hideous.
  4. 60
Unfortunately, many of these mixes were submitted either by talented fans or lesser known professionals, and often they’ve removed much more than they’ve put in.
  5. More a novelty than an essential addition to the Dismemberment Plan legacy.

    Complete hit-or-miss studio play. [#8, p.104]
  7. It's unlikely that you'll want to hear any of these remixes, even the better ones, more than once or twice.
