    I’m not surprised it took 4 years for them to have a full album. They really said quality over quantity. I know the moment I decided to stan these girls, I will not be disappointed with whatever they released. This album is everything we (blinks) been asking for and Blackpink gave us all. Their vocals and rap parts were perfect. Literally no skip.

    BLACKPINK is a group that never fails to impress. The Album has songs that perfectly showcase the group's style, whilst simultaneously proving to their listeners how versatile their group is. My only complaint is the amount of songs because I wish they had more.     The album have amazing vocals and rap. The letters are so stronger and powerful for women's. Bet you wanna with Cardi is so good for empowered and pretty savage is so cool with a fresh message. All song's are a piece of art.

    The songs are great. For me all the tracks are Title track worthy. There is different vibe in every song which I really love. I’d say this is their best album so far, and all the new songs are my favorite.

    You! our second, third, fourth, etc fandom better stfu and focus on ur own fandom. This is the ONLY kpop album that ALL songs inside I listened to, no skip at all.     The evolution of the music production, the vocals and rap parts are unmatched. The beats and lyrics are addicting paired with the powerful vocals of Rosé, Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa. This album showcases their versatility in music, showing that they can excel in different genres. Loved it at first play and loved it even more in repeat.

    Only 8 songs yet all can be title tracks. It's a total bop.
    And the lyrics and messages in each song, I never thought that I would cry to an upbeat song, but Lovesick Girls did that to me.
    This whole album makes me feel empowered as a woman and as a person. I think that's what I love the most about it. 10/10 for me.

The only disappointment was the number of songs, but hopefully YG Entertainment will release a deluxe album with three or four new songs later.… Expand

    it's a FULL Album by South Korean standards.
    The Album has no fillers, each track can be a hit on its own.
    The vocals from all 4 members are the highlight.
    I just like a couple more tracks

    If you are trying to be edgy like some of these mainstream "no talent" critics this Album is not for you, the Bars will cut you to shreds.

    i've been a blink since the start of this year. i've always viewed their music as very fun and not necessarily trying to be deep or meaningful. there's nothing wrong with that, but with this album, blackpink proved they could be more than a group that makes fun music and can explore a range of topics.

    the defining song of this album is definitely "lovesick girls". it's an anthemic song that explores why people continue to seek love and validation after being hurt time and time again. it's a song that doesn't song like it's trying to be a hit, which is a much different direction for the group and shows that, while they can make songs that are pure fun, they can also explore interesting and deep topics.

    i love everything about this album and the girls' vocals really shined, especially on "you never know", another heartfelt song that discussed the rampant harassment of idols.

    i didn't expect to like "bet you wanna" because i'm not the biggest fan of cardi, but it's so chill and almost ethereal that her feature doesn't even bother me.

    i don't have much to say about the other songs, but don't get me wrong, i love them as well. "how you like that" is one of my favorite releases of the year. i'm very impressed by the cohesiveness, an element that was somewhat absent from their past releases, of the album as a whole.

    i really only have 2 complaints about it. i think some of the choruses were a bit underwhelming and pretty savage needed some improvement. but besides that, this might be my favorite album of the year.    … Expand

    BLACKPINK The Album can be perfectly described as "QUALITY over Quantity" and "a masterpiece" I have never heard an Album where all tracks can be a title track or main track. Blackpink proved once again how talented they are! They showed alot of versatility and confidence. I'm so proud of them especially to Lisa.     I was just curious about all that Blackpink fuss about 2 weeks ago. Me not being a great fan of k-pop could have never expected such a “global sound” from The Album. Now, I regret not supporting Rosé, Jisoo, Lisa and Jennie before. Pure GIRL POWER!!! I’m listening to this album on repeat and can’t choose a favorite song yet, LOVE them all. Blackpink is not only in my area but in my heart ♥I was just curious about all that Blackpink fuss about 2 weeks ago.     For a debut album, this is extremely good!! The vocal power of the PINKS have been showcased very well. Truly, they deserve being the BIGGEST GIRL GROUP in the planet. Congrats!
