Any Other Way is an essential document of a revolutionary talent who should have been much bigger than she ultimately ended up being and now, with any luck and a little help from the fine folks at Numero Group, she’ll finally get her due.

Title track (which appears twice on the album) is also her biggest song commercially, for good reason, it's a smooth melodic soul highlight! ''comin' down'' is a close second for best song on this record with its hard horns ,Jackie at her roughest its a rockier side we could only dream to hear more of. Disk 2 is compiled of well done live performances that showcase the Canadians effortless stage presence. Overall this box set is an amazing monument to an underrated queer trailblazer who dared to be herself so publicly and let her talent speak for itself Full Review »
