creative, and very flavorful trap album. this is not your average rap project. it's nicely structured, mixed, and travis scott manages to just.. make things work. every feature on this album has a purpose. it's clearly carefully curated for a great ride of an experience. along with travis scott's nice wordplay, he knows how the ride the beat very well which is one of the things that makescreative, and very flavorful trap album. this is not your average rap project. it's nicely structured, mixed, and travis scott manages to just.. make things work. every feature on this album has a purpose. it's clearly carefully curated for a great ride of an experience. along with travis scott's nice wordplay, he knows how the ride the beat very well which is one of the things that makes him special. his unique autotune + other vocal effects are being used as an instrument to enhance melodies and blend well with the various vibrant beats in this album. this project released three years ago and yet.. it holds up very well. didn't age one bit. in fact, it aged like fine wine. if you're a rap fan who finds lyrical ability to matter the most, then you may or not like this album. some lyrical rap fans do, and some others don't care much for it.. don't get me wrong, the wordplay in this album is pretty decent, but some of it can be meaningless. but that's okay in my book, because that's not what it's trying to be. it's purely meant to be appreciated as a musically impressive rap/trap album that you could vibe to in all moods. if you're someone who cares for artistry, great production, or music to vibe to, i think this album will be a great listening experience to you. with features like Drake, Frank Ocean, Swae Lee, James Blake, The Weeknd, Tame Impala, 21 Savage, etc assisting in Travis Scott's vision for this rollercoaster of an album, it's a must listen. best songs in my opinion are Stargazing, Carousel, RIP SCREW, STOP TRYING TO BE GOD, NO BYSTANDERS, SKELETONS, ASTROTHUNDER, BUTTERFLY EFFECT. hope this is helpful Expand

Amazing album. It left me speechless. There are however some tracks that aren’t as strong as the others, but they do not in any way change my decision of giving this album a 10.

    Travis Scott really don’t miss.

That's a 10 for me. Mr Travis created the perfect rap album. Banger after banger without missing the original content. Contains one of the best hits in rap history - Sicko Mode. I really enjoyed it and also i come back to it occasionally.

    God bless you Travis

    Infravalorado.

If you take away, Yosemite and Who? What? this could be the best trap album to date. You can't hate this album. It's so good.

The Texas giant of music is back with his latest compilation of musical craftworks. There's little this album fails to achieve sonically.

This album was obtained from a separate dimension only accessible through a secret portal in Azerbaijan by a man named Oblimateus who was capable of traveling into this dimension through first entering a machine whose construction was 40 years in the making. The god of said dimension, Sentry, challenged him to 24 trials to test his mind and body so that he could obtain the first copy of Astroworld to bring back to earth. Before even knowing the name of the album Oblimateus was told by Sentry it was one of the greatest musical achievements any being was capable of producing in any of the known dimensions.

Another being, brother to Sentry known as Travis was the creator of this musical achievement believed twenty years prior to be an impossibility of sound production and writing.

The album's trap-psych spaciousness blends so that most of Astroworld plays out like a single long, spectacularly mixed track.

The modulation and echo treatments on the vocals, combined with the frequently torpid tempos, nonetheless make Astroworld ideal for being pumped through an (18 and over) amusement park's sound system near closing time, when the challenge of hitting all the rides has started to turn into an overindulgent, overheated chore.

His third studio album, Astroworld, feels like the grand opening of a vision that took a half-decade to perfect, still using the same psychedelic synth warps, diamond-cut drums, and reptilian hooks that initially skyrocketed him to stardom.
