One of the best albums of the genre. Those ratings don't do justice.

"Anodyne dance music for people who don't go to clubs, comedown music for people who don't do drugs. " The usual useful and pragmatic review from NME. I'm surprised it hasn't got more overt political undertones! Irrespective of NME and their inability to review music coherently, this album is a classic and is simply perfect for the summer. One of my favorite albums. Ever.

This album is intensely accesible for any late night rendezvous. Don't underestimate the power of an album that can mix such diverse influences.

One of my all time favourite albums, across all genres. This album is extremely underated as there is not a bad track on it, every single track is superb. Music of this calibre is especially hard to find in this genre, particularly in recent years. A classic.

Behind the Sun is a great follow up to an already a fantastic album Far From the Maddening Crowds.

The best tracks on the album are Low Sun, No Ordinary Morning, **** (Original Mix and The Thrillseekers Remix), Halcyon, Autumn Tactics and Don't Give Up. When you listen to this album you feel like you're at the beach on holiday or at a big dance club. If you're sadly can't go on

You must be joking. This is one of the all-time best dance/chil albums ever made. Nick's classical background is evident in these scintillating compositions. Oddly, though, the most famous track (with Bryan Adams singing) is the worst one on the CD. Buy it and you definitely won't regret it.

  1. A postcard-perfect summer pop jam, "Don't Give Up" is one of many delights on Chicane's much-anticipated sophomore album, "Behind The Sun."
  2. 60
Like many a club anthem, Chicane's massive tracks have a formulaic feel.
  3. When he isn't heating up the dance floor with unlikely guests, Bracegirdle constructs spacy ambient tracks that cool things down.
