    The son of Richard Thompson is capable of writing his own striking lyrics but sometimes they are straining a little too hard.

    Bella is a decent album, but one that is more likely to attract appreciative nods than the slap-me-on-the-patio lust that Thompson needs to raise his career to the next level.

If you aprpeciate Teddy's sophisticated approach to music and lyrics, you will find this to be one of his best. Granted, fine voices, melodies, production may take a back seat to bombast and alt-reflection on the radio these days, but if there's room in your music collection for an outstanding album that you will savor upon repeated listenings, don't miss Bella!… Full Review »
