    The record is best enjoyed whole, with headphones, concentration, and responded to with adulation. Dreams Are Not Enough is 2019's best electronic album, hands down.

    Eustis dances between revealing and concealing, admission and denial, and that tension animates the record from within: emotional whiplash as the engine of life. In this, the album plays out very much like the sweep of grief itself.

It truly feels like one is paralyzed and strapped to the bottom of the ocean with only the mind to shape such a murky perspective.
