Dudu is a welcome gesture of support from kindred souls. Consumed in moderate doses, it raises the spirits.

A worthy follow-up and tonal cousin to B Boys' strong debut, Dudu hits its mark.

The trio reflect the growing bleakness of the world around them by sounding more fiery and furious than ever before.

On the album’s 15 tracks, the band throw their strengths and weaknesses at the wall and see what sticks, oscillating between full-blown Jackson Pollock style chaos and the more carefully calibrated, geometric works of Mark Rothko. Sometimes it’s revelatory; sometimes it’ll leave you scratching your head.

Dig beneath all the sneering sarcasm and laissez faire projection, however, and you find a band stuck in strict formation with the subject matter of their songs. For much of its runtime, Dudu, the cheekily titled followup to 2017's Dada, operates as a series of short diatribes.
