Oct 22, 2014By far, this is the best album that Sinead has done since 1994's Universal Mother. As a whole, it is absolutely brilliant. Best track: "The Wolf is Getting Married"

Apr 16, 2012It must be taxing to "expose" oneself on an album that will be heard by thousands of people (if not millions). This is Sinead's most intimate album written or co-written by her since 2000's "Faith & Courage." John Grant's "Queen of Denmark" could have been written for her. There is some great material and music here, and this is my favorite album of hers since 1994s "Universal Mother."

Apr 4, 2012Her best album since 'Lion and the Cobra'. There are no fillers in this album, a true masterpiece. The best tracks are 'The wolf is getting married' and 'Queen of Denmark'. Her voice is better than ever, very powerful and beautiful at the same time.

Feb 21, 2012This is her best album in years. Although I've enjoyed the work she's released in the past decade, this album feels like the Sinead of the late 80s/early 90s. She sound rejuvenated, refreshed and newly inspired. It's a blessing to have her back

Under The RadarMar 21, 2012All in all, a glorious return. [Mar 2012, p.85]

MagnetMar 20, 2012An enchanting collection teeming with well-crafted hooks and fiery passion unheard since the epic, under-appreciated Faith and Courage a decade ago. [No. 85, p.56]

Mar 13, 2012It's the 45-year-old singer's most accomplished album in ages, for sure, though it might also be her straightest.
