This is a good album from an amazing duo. Overall I think the result is not a top-notch one but it helps relieve a little bit the hunger to hear the beloved voice of Christine again. For me none of the songs really stand out, but a few tend to flop like the single 'Sleeping Around the Corner' and 'Too Far Gone'. The overwhelming success of this unexpected Mac mashup is clear evidence that it's more than a one-off idea. [No. 144, p.52]

A curious album to be sure, Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie could just as well have been released as two separate EPs.

At its best this album is innocuous. Don’t focus on the lyrics and it is palatable and will be Fleetwood enough to please some. At its worst it is the musical equivalent of trying to squeeze yourself into your favourite clothes of yesteryear: uncomfortable, unflattering and not worth the struggle.
