  1. After we leave the forebodingly beautiful place of Little Hell one thing is certain--this is City and Colour's finest, most creative work to date.

On Bring Me Your Love Dallas Green laments, pines, and celebrates loves both won and lost, employing a dusky, electrified patina of old and new country with a tinge of soul that's miles (sonically) from his work with the post-hardcore outfit Alexisonfire.

As it stands, Green has moved forward--or at least sideways--with each of his three City and Colour albums. But all in all, it's difficult to call Little Hell anything much more than nice.

After listening to this album extensively, I still put it on almost everyday. I am absolutely in love with this record. Every song is still as enjoyable now as it was when the album was released. Expand

This is only a slight step down from Bring Me Your Love, if you're counting. This collection, though, is every bit as praiseworthy as other more highly touted folk rock outings (at least here on Metacritic) by Laura Marling or Lisa Hannigan. Dallas Green is an angel, divine at singing certainly but also playing and writing. Expand

Not my cup of tea, bored me greatly! Not surprizing, I have not liked a single song or album by City And Colour. I hate to get down on a Canadian artist but the musical stylings of this artist does not impress me in the lest. Expand
