  1. Nov 14, 2012
One of the most impressive albums of the home-recording era while still feeling superbly refined.
  2. The way your patience is so handsomely rewarded is what truly makes Lonerism such an engrossing spectacle.
  3. Nov 27, 2012
While none of the songs are deeply political or poetic like the wartime bands that predated Tame Impala, they are no less poignant and often delve into a reflective sadness of longing to belong.
  4. Nov 14, 2012
    Hypno-grooving at its best.
  5. Nov 14, 2012
Lonerism is an absolutely amazing and inspiring record.
  6. Nov 14, 2012
There are few out there above what he has achieved with Lonerism.
  7. Nov 14, 2012
Lonerism is a dense slab, and much may resist exploration on the first 5, 10, or 20 listens, but the swaths that pass through even the most garbled neural net are nourishing enough to sustain a considerable journey.
  8. Nov 14, 2012
An album of the year contender.
  9. Nov 14, 2012
This album is incredibly intriguing and was executed beautifully.
  10. Nov 14, 2012
Tame Impala prove far more exciting because, by maximizing the use of the available technology, they tap into the progressive and experimental spirit of psychedelic rock, and not just the sound.
  11. Nov 14, 2012
Tame Impala possesses an uncanny ear for reconstructing psychedelia that spans decades while remaining undeniably present.
  12. Dec 4, 2012
The band's latest, Lonerism, digs even deeper into those themes and sounds [early-'70s psychedelia, proto-metal, and British pop], and pulls out a masterful collage.
  13. Nov 14, 2012
Lonerism is a life raft for the abyss of song-induced self-reflection it inspires.
  14. Nov 14, 2012
It feels digital, alien, the sound of modern machines going wrong. All this is underpinned by genuinely great songwriting

Incredible classic rock inspired sound that sends you on a nouveau psychedelic journey through lavish multi-layered soundscapes and leave you in slack-jawed amazement after every track. Personally i thought their debut album Innerspeaker would be tough to top, but this really takes the band to a new level. A no contest best album of the year, and sure to be one of the best of the decade. A psychedelic pop masterpiece. Full Review »

Finally this website puts this on here. Great album, easily better than 'Innerspeaker' and one of the best of 2012. I wouldn't call it perfect, but it's close enough. Full Review »

Lonerism or loner??? Definitely one of the best albums of 2012. Tracks to listen: Elephant, Led Zeppelin (a bonus track) and Beverly Laurel (another bonus track). Full Review »
