Loudboxer stands apart from other utilitarian dance music in its hypnotic sense of space. [#8, p.124]
  2. I'm used to hearing more layers in this type of music, and the simplicity here is surprising -- not necessarily in a good way.
  3. Though Speedy J does pure techno as good as he did his earlier experimental productions, it's a shame he's gotten back to the kind of tracks that DJ Hyperactive could be knocking out in his sleep.

The sounds are simply too dark and sweaty for most fans' home listening.

Not too bad...reminds me of old progressive techno with a dash of dark undercurrents. Prefer his older stuff but still good.
