MixerAn album of sheer brutal force. [Jul 2002, p.79]
-
Alternative PressLoudboxer revisits stark, pounding techno at a moment when the genre's fallen from favor, in the process revitalizing the form. [Aug 2002, p.84]
-
UrbA fantastic reminder of the visceral power of hard-stomping, neck-snapping techno. [Jul 2002, p.100]
-
UncutThe first six tracks of pared-down techno loops give way to the ambient sound-and-speech collage of "InterZil" before the metallic funk jackhammers of frenzied current single "Krekc." [Jul 2002, p.106]
-
Many of the tracks on the latter half of the release simply don't change that much, and for that reason it's a little hard to just pop in the player and sit down to listen to unless you're into repetitive, harsh electronic dance music.
-
The album does offer the listener the high-quality mix CD that techno purists have long suspected Speedy J could deliver.

MongBeanAug 29, 2002Not too bad...reminds me of old progressive techno with a dash of dark undercurrents. Prefer his older stuff but still good.
