    One of the best things I've ever heard in years. This is such a masterpiece! Iconic and so, so, so, so sweet! Lorde made it. There's tracks like Supercut, Writer In The Dark, The Louvre that made me cry.

    In love with this album. Well arranged, short sweet and perfect. Nothing is on Lorde'sLevel right now, except maybe Kendrick. Wish for more of such beautiful experiences again.

    "Melodrama" delves into Lorde's post-fame life, which also marks as the continuation of where Pure Heroine left off, 3-4 years prior. It is a loose concept album with great and introspective songwriting about heartbreak, solitude, love, and everything in between.     Definitely one of the greatest breakup albums. I love this. I just wish her score would go back to 9 like it was. What the hell Lana fans. Support your own heroine. Don't sabotage the work of our queen.

    Álbum totalmente esmurrado pelo "Pure Heroine". Chega a ser cansativo e frustrante ter que repeti-lo. O disco se segura em musicas como "Writer in the Dark", "Sober", "Liability" e no maravilhoso conceito que o mesmo tem, mas com o passar do tempo você percebe que é mais do mesmo.

    I was thinking that Pure Heroine was going to be hard to beat, but Lorde proved that she is an artist from another world.

Lorde siendo una cantautora tan joven nos transmite una madurez sentimental impresionante, me siento identificado con la letra de las canciones con cada una porque todos hemos pasado por este tipo de sentimientos en algún momento de rompimiento. La producción está llena de sonidos nuevos que envuelven en propósito sentimental de cada canción. Lorde nos presenta a una persona nueva comparada con su álbum debut pero sin olvidar la seriedad en la letra acompañada de sonidos enternecedores y rítmicos, le doy un 10 cerrado por cada canción desde Green light hasta perfect places cada uno de los temas es de una calidad sin precedentes.     Melodrama is in my opinion the best album released in 2017. Everything from the lyrical content to production is absolutely top notch. This album is one big step for Lorde and I'm glad she delivered!

    I'm very proud and happy for this album, it's absolutely amazing and I loved every track. I was in a state of exctase, it sure is the album of the year. As david bowie has already said: LORDE IS THE FUTURE OF MUSIC.

    Muy sobrevalorado, Uso los ritmos de Team y Green Light en casi todo el album, lo unico que cambia son las liricas de las canciones, paso de hacer buen material a lo tipico comercial, el album habla solo de fiestas y hombres, y hacer un album completo relacionado a eso se torna aburrido e insipido, al parecer se le acabaron las ideas.

    El álbum es bueno en todos los sentidos, Lorde pudo cambiar a música más alegre, más "PoP" y lo hizo bien, para mi Melodrama es el mejor álbum del 2017.

    Melodrama is such a fresh and delightful experience... Lorde gave us something new and exciting in a moment when mainstream music seem to be letting most people down. I personally loved how she played with her voice on tracks like "Writer in the Dark". It's amazing how she showed us her voice in different ways and to see how she grew as an artist and songwriter.

    hard feelings es la mejor cancion sin duda! el ritmo, la letra... sublime! lo que mejoro esta mujer vocalmente y en sonido no se puede creer. Los violines y guitarras suenan hermsos, incluso con las canciones de su viejo album. Buen trabajo Lorde!

    Eu espero q as crianças parem de ficar trocando critica negativa e fazerem essa birra de Lorde x Lana,da pra ouvir a musica da duas em paz eu amo o Lust for Life tanto quanto o Melodrama e estou dando nota alta para os dois.São duas cantoras maravilhosas que não merece esses fãs nojentos!     Con este album, Lorde demostró ser el "futuro de la música" como lo había dicho en momento David Bowie. Podemos escuchar el avance en sonidos que logro al incluir mas instrumentos. Y también nos demostró que puede hacer tonos mas agudos de los que pensábamos, como en writer in the dark. la canción "hard feelings/Loveless" es una cancion de dos partes perfectamente realizada, en dondeCon este album, Lorde demostró ser el "futuro de la música" como lo había dicho en momento David Bowie. Podemos escuchar el avance en sonidos que logro al incluir mas instrumentos. Y también nos demostró que puede hacer tonos mas agudos de los que pensábamos, como en writer in the dark. la canción "hard feelings/Loveless" es una cancion de dos partes perfectamente realizada, en donde pasamos de la tristeza por una ruptura a burlarnos de esa situación y/o persona. el final de supercut y el principio de liability reprise hacen que parezca una sola cancion, lo cual es genial. incluso la portada es maravillosa. nuestro mejor puntaje para este album!… Expand

    I'm pretty sure this is her best work by far. That's an album that I can totally relate to. I loved it. It's pretty weird by the first time you listen to it, but if you keep going, I'm sure you'll get addicted to this album.

Если по качеству, то в половине треков использовано хоровое "подпевание", на выступлениях это показало ее не способность тянуть всю песню (если проще то - халтуру) мне все таки хочется слышать голос артиста, а не детский хор. Разочарование года.Послушал альбом раза 3, понравились всего две песни - Лувр и Динамит, собственно на этом 2/10... Дебютный альбом в 100крат лучше.     La transición de supercut a liability reprise es una de los momentos mas maravillosos de este album. Tiene canciones para bailar, y otras para relajarte, por lo que podes escucharlo en cualquier momento! las letras tan personales lo hacen magnifico. ninguna otra persona que no fuera ella podria cantarlo. sin duda mejoro muchisimo, y para bien!

Of course Pitchfork will go nuts over a simple electro-beat and intermittent noise but this formula, well-known to the indie crowd, will forever turn me off. At it's liveliest, it's pop, but it's real ambition is to whisper poetry about humanity.     Incredible album from start to finish. I've been loving Pure Heroine since it came out in 2013 but I actually love this album even more. Outstanding lyrics, vocals and production. I feel that just like Pure Heroine I'll be listening to this album for years to come and still enjoying it just as much.

    Lorde nos muestra en Melodrama su gran capacidad de crear canciones donde no solo la letra es la que da el sentido, permitiendo darle a las canciones sentidos únicos y perfectos con detalles mínimos que hacen que cada canción del álbum se llame perfección.

    Don't get me wrong, this is a great album, but I will admit that Pure Heroine is better. When I listen to Melodrama in full, it can get a little boring and it feels like it's a much longer album than it really is. This album lacks the incredible pacing that PH has. That album goes by very quick when I listen to it, this new album doesn't do that. There are some songs that I'll be comingDon't get me wrong, this is a great album, but I will admit that Pure Heroine is better.     Honestamente, Melodrama es un álbum demasiado hermoso. Tiene sonidos nuevos y frescos, y ni hablar de las letras, que son jodidamente perfectas. Creo que Lorde nos comparte a través de ellas una pequeña parte de su vida y por lo que ha pasado, pues ella aún es una chica adolescente.     This album is pure art. Lorde did an amazing job in Melodrama. Everything in it is very different and unique. One of my favourites albums from this year so far.

    An amazing work, with great sounds and a nice atmosphere only Lorde can create. After 4 years she came back and it was worth he wait. I really recommend it.

    This album is the best of 2017; Melodrama is a magic travel from the beggining to the end. The melodrama tells about his life after fame, parties and fun as well as his deepest side of the lack of love.

    Debo decir que me esperaba más de ella, en este álbum la única canción que podría rescatar es "Sober." Espero que ella tome en cuenta que debe mejorar un poco más.

    The best pop album of 2017 so far. Lorde songwriting and - this time - song production is totally amazing. Her inspirations seems to flow from Robyn to Bjork, in an spectacular sophomore project. The almost-four years of waiting were totally worth it.

    Such an amazing album it is. I love how she creates such artistic songs in the album. This album is definitely 10-worthy. I love it so much. Totally would recommend it.

    This is one of the best albums I have heard this year. Lorde has a very good ability to showcase emotions, and this is a very personal and sad album. It does have its low moments, like on Perfect Places, but its a great album nevertheless.

    This is an album that the Lorde knew how to dare easily, some songs have the facility to have a perfect finish, but others lack a finish that is very important, as is the case of Sober. Intelligent music that deserves more quality.

    Lorde's Melodrama rises as the romantic come-of-age zeitgeist of its generation, talking about topics that might hurt most of us, Lorde takes a really unique approach and makes each song hers as much as the listener's, with highlights such as The Louvre, Supercut and Hard Feelings, there is no doubt Melodrama can be crowned as one of the best follow-up records of the decade.

    Simply the most well rounded pop album new(ish) on the market. Extremely catchy, groovy, and full of positive vibes. By far her best work and will likely go down as the best album of her career. Crazy to think she was already huge and then came out with something even better. Well done, Lorde.

    The emotions Lorde paints with her personal experiences really makes for an enthralling listening experience.Its as if she captured the emotions of a our digital generation, and compressed them into these lovely tracks on the album. Each track has its own setting for you to escape in, and relatable concepts that question the lifestyle of a generation. One of the best albums I've heard this year.

    Excellent album! Earlier Lorde didn't listen at all. Fine alternative music. Something reminds quiet pest of Imagine Dragons. Green Light the best track together with Liabillity.

    I've never heard something like this before!! Everything about this album is so different, unique, artistic and somehow weird. Each and every song tells a different experience but the whole tracklist just flow around the main story which is solitude and partying alone. While the instrumentals in this record are mind blowing and genius, the lyrics still are the album's biggest asset,I've never heard something like this before!!     Lorde, the greatest of greatest, still so real. I love the way this album makes me feel like I know her. And yes, from what I see a I can say she is rare, truly artistic persona, who does not want to make hits. The way she balanced pop and alternative art, that is something really unique. Thanks for that, Lorde, you make music alive.

    Green Light: As a song that starts the album, it's not the easiest transition (at least for people like me who actually jump at the sound of the piano.) Although there are moments where Lorde's vocals and the lyrics don't quite translate, it always comes across as sincere and a solid opening for the album. (8/10)
    Sober: The instruments and the vocals weave together seamlessly, it's a nightclub song that reminds people that the nightclub is never the solution to our problems. The percussion is odd... but luckily not annoying. (9/10)
    Homemade Dynamite: *Blowing **** up with homemade d-d-d-dynamite!* It's catchy as hell, has intriguing metaphorical lyrics, and the way it builds up only to stop for a second, and **** blows up makes for one of the most entrancing listening experiences ever. (10/10)
    The Louvre: An amazing use of background vocals. The way they are bended, actually makes it sound like an instrument in the song rather than something that is there just to be a production trick. Lorde sings with great passion about how she is "totally" happy about her relationship at this point. The ending really just puts the icing on the cake, stylistically at least. (10/10)
    Liability: Earlier today, this song was stuck in my head... considering how honest and frankly sad this song is, I'm surprised it even got there in the first place... I don't have much else to say about this. It's a song with sparse instrumentation, has self-reflective lyrics that actually question morals and character, and flows through verse and chorus very smoothly. (10/10)
    Hard Feelings/Loveless: The first half of this song (Hard Feelings) initially starts out calm, before it ultimately explodes in an expression over how Lorde handles a breakup. The second half (can it even be called a half/Loveless) is catchy, has sinister lyrics, and has a purposefully poppish sounding arrangement... the only problem, is that it's so short. (9/10)
    Sober 2 (Melodrama): Whilst Sober spoke about how the fantasy that is a good time at a nightclub or a party... it's the aftermath of living through something that you'd been hyping up for what seems like eternity. It's a track that deals with the consequences of silly choices and the questioning of more important things. The ultimate climax and resolution of this song is so satisfying... yet another explosion of production... I'm surprised that it hasn't gotten repetitive by now (10/10)
    Writer in the Dark: A Taylor Swift song, that I actually enjoy listening to. With lyrics that shows how sinister and perhaps evil a former lover can become and how they can deceptively turn back to normal within a second, as the chorus peaks in intensity, it quickly quiets down and lets Lorde explain herself. (10/10)
    Supercut: I'll be honest, I didn't enjoy how this song started, but when the percussion cam in, it somehow established that this wouldn't just be a simple pop song, and showed that Lorde had grown out of letting her emotions get the best of her (at least in this track) and holds back intensity, almost as if to show maturity... sorry if this song review wasn't particularly good. (8/10)
    Liability (Reprise): The intro almost reminded me of Bon Iver's new material, until the drum came into the song and put me into a hypnotized trance without ever becoming an overbearing presence in the song. it cuts off unexpectedly, and leaves me to interpret the rather cryptic ending. (9/10)
    Perfect Places: I will always prefer the Jimmy Fallon version, because the fact that Lorde is singing by herself already sells the song, that I believe that it didn't need so much happening at once. I still enjoy the **** out of this song. (9/10)

    Final Score: 9/10

    Lyrically, this album was perfection. Production-wise, poppy without being annoying. There's not much to dislike about this album other than the occasional off-beat parts which I only dislike because of my personal taste of music and not because the music itself is flawed. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the album as much as me (if not more) and if you didn't, I hope you are still happy about life.    … Expand

    How to know you are a great singer is when every song on your album is amazing. I loved every single song on this album, I would even go to say it might be better than Pure Heroine.     Lorde has put together a very strong album. If you're new to Lorde or loved Pure Heroin this is an album that deserves a listen. Similar style to her previous album, but the lyrics have much more substance. Songs that notable from the album: Writer in the Dark, Perfect Places, Supercut, The louvre, Melodrama, Liability.

    I don't like every song on this album, but still I can't rate this album less than 10 , because the songs I like here are so... fantastic that they just slay me. For me, this is the best album I've listened to in 2017 yet and it's much better than Pure Heroine.

    This is one of the best albums I've ever heard. I really like the balance between up-tempo songs and the slower songs like Liability and Writer In The Dark.

    There are no gimmicks. There’s nothing screaming for acceptance. Melodrama is a raw, real album under its sparkly clean production. One written for the masses but able to resonate with each individual listener.
