    The overall structure of the album as a sound bouncing through the city is excellent, though song-to-song, the album can feel uniform in a more expected way. But that said, this is still a tight 35 minutes of pure punk rock from a band making a welcome return and refusing to go back to where they were.

Metropole is all about feeling old and lonely, ironically, TLA riffs and lyrics have their old sound but are anything but old. TLA is one of the few "old-school" punk bands that is yet to lay an egg. They have evolved from their "Oh Calcutta!" sound to little bit more polished sound, kinda like an hybrid between their past two albums. If you like punk music, or just goo music, Seventeener, Acheron River, YMCA and October Blood will make the album worth it.… Full Review »
