While the lyricism is less than folklore and evermore that is to be expected from a pop album and the lyrics Swift have written are so deeply personal you can feel why she had sleepless nights. The songs go from lovestruck to reminiscing to devastating to bitter to contemplative to insecure. Each song is truly incredible and perfectlyAs always Taylor has delivered a masterpiece.     Has roots of 2014-2019 Taylor, pop with experimental and darker undertones in some places, whilst simultaneously still containing the fun sounds that made her a superstar. However, the album’s lyrics do fall short in some places, and are perhaps a little childish for such a seasoned songwriter as Swift is renowned to be. Regardless, a nice, above-average album.

    Sin embargo, la temática de algunas canciones trae la mente conceptos abordados en otros de sus álbumes (el karma, la soledad, las dudas sobre uno mismo, la venganza…) a raíz de sus vivencias personales bien conocidas por sus fans, lo que le añade un toque de nostalgia que baña los sonidos de sus líricas.

    Si bien “Midnights” no es mi disco favorito de Miss Americana (“Evermore” me parece su punto más alto en cuanto a composición y “Folklore” es su trabajo más cohesivo), su décimo LP llega con muchas canciones divertidas que crean una gran atmósfera para divertirse hasta el alba.

    surpassingly good. she is basically telling us to trust the process and to trust her, because when the album leaked and people started giving their opinions about it i was a bit scared, i didn’t know what to expect, not even a bit, but thank god, it’s a masterpiece. sonically, lyrically and vocally. she delivered. it’ll be probably her best pop album to me.

You won't find many earworms melody here, but only supreme lyrics and subdued productions and melody. Perfect for car-rides, chill sessions and as soundtrack for my many existential crises (YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN KID! question...?) Definitely gonna breakdown to this sometime in the future. 3am tracks are good as well: Bigger than the whole sky, Glitch, would've could've should've.

    In my opinion, Jack Antonoff really needs to step up his production. Overused production motifs and clashing beats - although I might be a little bit biased here since I'm not really into hip-hop beat. Maroon had sooo much potential with Taylor's songwriting, but I ultimately didn't enjoy the production on that track.    … Expand

    While I believe the lead single Anti-Hero to be the most qualified to be the lead single (a vast improvement compared to Lover's ME! featuring Panic! at the Disco), the standout track of the great 13 has to be Vigilante **** leaning heavily to the album's reputation influence, giving it this mysterious, dark vibe that is quite different from the other tracks.     The lyrical intimacy on this album with the darker pop synth sound.. she’s always been good with her writing, but just wow. This is a more subdue mature version of 1989. Also reminds me a lot of the song “Clean” from 1989, which is a fav!

Specially the album opener lavender haze , 2nd track maroon and vigilante **** are amazing. To describe it better I might say it is the child of 1989 and Lover along with a bit of revenge touch of reputation.

    A no-skips album. Her lyrics, as usual, are amazing. So far my only complaint is that I expected Lana del Rey to sing more during Snow on the Beach. However, it's a great song! Other songs that are my favourites (so far) are Vigilante **** Midnight Rain and Anti-Hero.

    Swift proves once again that she likes to experiment with new sounds and genres and that she does it beautifully. A really intriguing album, different sounds, provocative lyrics such as really sweet ones, Swift takes us into another world, her world, the Midnights world. And it is great.

    Midnights sounds very different from her previous album. A kind of album that you can listen to literally at midnight. The vibe is just chill. Her best album to date.

There’s really no competition, and this album is like a big, sarcastic middle finger to her haters. She’s owning up to whatever their saying if it makes them happy, so if karma is a **** and this is the karma they want for her, then she’s embracing it. Joke’s on the haters.… Expand

    Taylor really made it looks so easy to create a masterpiece album. I can't decide my favorite song off the album yet I like them all a lot.

    This album is just perfect. One of her best work. The production, the lyrics, the concept. Everything just perfect. I highly recommend listening to this work.

    Midnights somehow captures the melodic beats of 1989 and the lyrical genius of folklore and evermore in an album that is in many ways more personal and honest than any work that precedes it. I have to say that this is my favourite album from her, and I'm excited to see wherever she goes to next year.
