  • Summary: The debut album for Sheffield quartet was produced by Hugh Jones.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 1 out of 5
  2. Negative: 0 out of 5
  1. In short, the album is great but you do wish these bands could learn to dress better.
  2. This retro sound is no surprise as Echo & The Bunnymen producer Hugh Jones is in control, and he infuses No Fighting In The War Room with a sneering urgency. It works, but only in spurts.
  3. Little is embellished, musically or lyrically, and the no-frills approach can sometimes work in a band's favour. But this workmanlike trawl through suburban life won’t set your world on fire.
  4. Let’s not kid ourselves, though, that this is anything more than formulaic, spiky, anthemic pop.
  5. Harrisons have not brought anything terribly original to the table.
