Sep 10, 201110Great album, with masterfully blended lyrics. One of my favorite albums of all time, you will listen to this only understanding half of the things he raps. All his songs will need 5+ listens to begin to comprehend his lyrics.

DrewS.Sep 4, 20079This record is a fantastic listen, superficially as well as more deeply. Dense lyrical delivery leave so much to be deconstructed, and the beats are intricately composed. And really, the songs just groove so well. Intriguing lyrics + thick, interesting beats = one hell of a record.

JordanG.Aug 31, 20079Wow, did it just get darker in here or is it just the world as written by Aesop? Faerie tales for the saturday morning cartoon breakfast cereal betrayed generation.

JerryJ.Aug 31, 20079Simply one of the greatest records of Aesop's career. More autonomous prose that will make all true Aesop disciples proud. The production is phenomenal. Blockhead is back with a vengeance - but every beat is truly unique and worthy of two thumbs up. Fascinating lyrical landscapes; gritty and smokey and everything you love about Aes. Check out Coffee. Damn.

OmarMOct 10, 20078Easily his most listenable album. No songs are lyrically as memorable as Coma, No Regrets, or Daylight -- but some beats, like Coffee, are unforgettable.

BrennanL.Nov 16, 20076It's getting a little stale here, guys.

SirSeverTheSunwalkerDec 1, 20074This guy is teetering upon the edge of being absolutely intolerable.. The most infuriating thing is the same people who claim that rappers like Canibus are just incomprehensible nonsense, listen to this trash and herald it like it's dope. get this trash out of my face.

It's Christmas come early, and None Shall Pass won't disappoint his fervent admirers.
-
40Bitter, cold and insular, None Shall Pass is also profoundly (if proudly) out of step. [Sep 2007, p.124]
-
It's heady but funn stuff, eased along by bluesy, turgid grooves from frequent collaborators Blockhead and El-P, as well as Aesop himself. [31 Aug. 2007, p.65]
