  • Summary: This is the fourth quirky release for the exclamation-point-loving, Devo-esque, Tokyo-based band.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 6 out of 11
  2. Negative: 1 out of 11
  1. If you have never come across Polysics before, this album would be quite a good jumping on point.
  2. New Musical Express (NME)

So exciting that it should come with a precautionary bottle of Prozac. [6 May 2006, p.33]
  3. Alternative Press
    80
Light years beyond any current dance-punk act. [Apr 2006, p.203]
  4. Unfortunately, Now is the Time! short-circuits early, leaving us with an empty gimmick and a few good synth-zapped riffs.
  5. Songs like "Walky Talky" and "Bye-Bye-Bye" reference the band's Devo inspiration a bit too explicitly, but overall Polysics show themselves to have for the most part outgrown their influences.
  6. Uncut
    60
While often inscrutable, it's seldom boring. [Jun 2006, p.110]
  7. Q Magazine
    20
So migraine-inducing that the Crazy Frog would seem like light relief. [May 2006, p.129]
