    This is the best Nicki Minaj album in her entire career, she hit hard in sound and quality, this album was defined by Chun-Li and her arrogance in the song, leaving out the emotional and sentimental, she really hit hard on every song

    Although there was a few obvious fillers in this album, her versatility shines through with this album. She tackles a different area of rap, where it differed from most of the music that was being released at the time, this body of work proves that Nicki is bold and confident in what she releases. Take away a few pacing issues and unnecessary features, and this album would be perfect. Nicki still shows off some great songwriting abilities and her flow is flawless.     Sinceramente lo recomiendo, Nicki Minaj es una Rapera muy versátil, la mejor diría yo.
    Tiene canciones con excelentes ritmos como Barbie Dreams, Good Form, Chun-Li... También muy buenas colaboraciones con Eminem, Labrinth, Foxy Brown. Un detalle, creo que Bed con Ariana Grande no iba en el concepto del álbum, debió haberlo descartado. Muy recomendado

    The tracks bring me the purest hip-hop sound I can hear, and with strong beats that brings experience of being in the middle of Nicki's show. The production is well controlled, taking out those tedious tracks and seems to be out of order, behind heavy productions to its totally good compositions and pegactive choruses that makes anyone roll and dance to nicki's sound. She's good at what she does.

    Great album. Very strong lyrical. My favorite songs are hard white, good form and llc. I think it would have been better if it didn’t have run and hide and thought I knew you on it tbh.

    the album has a variety of styles, so it’s very versatile. there are different genres, such as a little pop/rnb but it’s mostly rap. she has great flow, and okay lyrics (though this album was probably meant more for her female fans). overall great album.

    Not all songs on the album are perfect but I think it's one of best releases of 2018. Nicki proves that she still QUEEN and nobody can dethrone her. Some songs are boring but anyway they're stunning.

She also attempted to adapt to the modern trap sound, and for my personal preference, I dislike the analogousness of trap music since it’s the same recycled beats implemented for every song we hear.

    She exerted her R&B moments which I enjoyed, with the “troubled relationship” vibes coming from tracks such as “Come See About Me” and “Run and Hide.”
    She raps cockily about her skills and achievements in tracks like LLC, and collaborated with another female New York MC: Foxy Brown, on the melodic, bassy instrumental of “Coco Chanel.” I am indeed one of Nicki Minaj’s biggest fans, so I was at least satisfied with the fact that she had finally released an album. Could it have been better? Yes. Is it overall a horrible album? No.

    And as I see some of the biased, hateful and uninformative reviews on here, I just want to comment that it is normal for a rapper to brag about their sexual encounters and other achievements career-wise and personally. Male or female. And not every rap song you hear has to have the same theme involving money, sex and drugs.

    Overall, the album is a solid 8, maybe a 7.9. Nicki Minaj will continue to thrive if she takes her time and keeps pushing her pen, lyrically providing her fans with more creatively-worded puns and metaphors.    … Expand

Many rumors say that all that stuff was made by Atlantic, they are known for offered many contracts to build a “New” Nicki Minaj in order to bury the actual Queen of Rap

    During her hiatus, she made a retrospection of herself. She wanted to concentrate her energy to her work, without the meanness of the social media and the distraction related.

    A good decision? Let’s see.

    With the release of Chun-Li and Barbie Tingz in April 2018, she makes a strong comeback. Chun-Li peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 making her song the highest charted solo song by a female rapper in 2018.

    Due to the high expectation of the GP and her fans, she made her own Radio show called “Queen Radio” on Beats 1. She played her 4th album right here in the morning at the same moment of the release of Queen. The “Queen Radio” breaks the Beats 1 record for being the most listened show.

    Queen shows the perfect versatility of Nicki Minaj. As her words in the Queen Radio, we can really hear the combination of each greatest side of her past albums. Indeed, her 4th album shows her power, her vulnerability, and her lyricism during the listening. Her pen is definitely unmatched.

    The tracklist choices make the Nicki Minaj’s last album a perfect one. Travelling into different type of feelings, Queen has his place on the best rap album's list in this century.

    8. Run & hide - perfect after thought i knew you. However this is too pink printy for me... kind of like i lied and i just dont like the flashback im getting from it. I probably wont be listening to this song unfortunately. However its short and i get why she put it there - 6/10

    With her 4th album 'Queen' Nicki Minaj has shown to everybody her skilful and talented soul, jumping from her Pop side to the one more Hip-Hop Under ground.
    I really loved this album and I would recommend to anyone who enjoy urban music in general, specially Hip-Hop/Rap.

    After a long wait (4 years), several delays, strong backlash and after the masterpiece that was The Pinkprint, I thought this album would be a mess. I was SO wrong. 17 songs and ALL of them are amazing. Good Form, Ganja Burn and LLC are rap bops. This album is her masterpiece.

    It's not a secret Nicki is a woman of strong personality, which is reflected in the album and that's great! There are tracks that have great production which outshines the fluent energy on Minaj's rapping delivery but some other tracks where these things are not exactly strong uncover the lack of deepness in the whole album.

All of the tracks from Ganja Burn until the last all have the potential to be very good individual songs. However, there are some honest downsides. Also some songs like Chun Swae, while very good, are too long. Nicki should have made it a bit shorter and removed the unnecessary adlibs at the end or at least shortened it. Also, she should have collated the R&B and Rap into separate sides like Drake or at least removed the songs that don't classify with either and released as individual songs. Overall though, while not her best (I still believe that The Pinkprint is her best album), this is a very good album that showcases her lyrical and musical prowess. 'Queen' truly is an album title fitting for the Queen of Rap!… Expand

The album Queen also has great individual songs such as Ganja Burns, Majesty, Barbie Dreams, Chun Li. But the album as a whole is forgettable. There are so many passable songs that are just boring, yet still have quality lyrics.
    So many songs try differing styles and yet don't capture who Nicki is. Nicki Minaj is best when she is doing music that is different than the norm (Truffle Butter, Anaconda, Superbass). So this album just has a series of songs that sound just like everything else in 2018. Even though it may lyrically be of higher quality the music ends up seeming mostly bland. I never got a great feeling of who Nicki is from this album instead it could be any pop star with this music. Compare it to albums like Lemonade and Dirty Computer where at the end you feel like you got to know the artist better and have a strong feeling of who they are.    … Expand

    On Queen, Nicki spends a lot of time ordering beheadings--which are fun, but get old quick--rather than showing us why she is and should be queen. Here's to hoping the next album gives us a more earnest, more raw glimpse of the head that wears the crown.

    When Minaj leans into her untouchable strengths as a rapper, things get really exciting and an album of tracks as strong as "LLC" or "Barbie Dreams" would be one for the books. As it stands, however, Queen is another chapter of Minaj's good but largely meandering and inconsistent full-length album output.
