    With Queen Nicki she showed not only her darker side but also her versatility more than ever adapting to current sounds and gave us a quite enjoyable rap album.

    Queen is definitely the best female rap album of the decade. It is not a boring album despite having 19 tracks. Nicki Minaj killing it.

    When I saw the title Queen I was nervous to listen to this album. The title itself is a statement. An album that has 19 song you would think that it's too long or not interesting enough to listen to the full album, but Nicki made sure to layer this album in a way that each song has a different vibe on it's own. Nicki showed with this album once again why she the queen. I feel like that I could come back 10 years later and listen to this album and it would still feel like a whole new album to me, that's how classic this album is.… Expand

    I'm in love with this new Queen work. Make me cried a lot with the sample of Just Playing of the BIG BIGGIE, and the lyrics, the metaphorically of the words. Just amazing, the 2nd BEST OF THE QUEEN OF RAP, NICKI MINAJ.

    The album has something for everyone. It's mainly hip-hop, but it also has pop, r&b, afrobeats, dancehall, etc. It's a mix of old Nicki and new Nicki. If you want mixtape era Nicki: Barbie Dreams, Chun Li, and Rich Sex all provide that. If you want Pink Friday Nicki: Ganja Burn and Majesty do that. If you want Roman Reloaded: Bed and Come See About Me are the ones. If you want Pink PrintThe album has something for everyone. All the people that stated that she doesn't write her own **** (wrong), that she has only one flow (wrong), that she isn't hip-hop (wrong), etc. I wish I could go into more detail on the songs, but there's not enough space. Basically, I think this is such a great album. I think there's something for everyone. It pays a lot of tribute to classic hip-hop (examples: Biggie, 50 Cent, Lauryn Hill, Mobb Deep, etc.) It has a bunch of new and interesting sounds. The production is amazing and everything on this album. The cover art is beautiful. Any problems with this album are honestly with some of the features. Because, Nicki sounds great. I've seen a lot of people who aren't even fans of Nicki listen to this album and love this album. Nicki worked hard on this, and you can tell, because it sounds great. I like all th songs, but the songs I would totally recommend are Ganja Burns, Majesty, Barbie Dreams, Rich Sex, Hard White, Chun-Li, LLC, Good Form, and Coco Chanel.… Expand

    The best rap album dropped this year, Nicki Minaj showed again that she is the Queen Of Rap. The best tracks are Majesty, Barbie Dreams, Come See About Me, Good Form and Chun Swae and the best feautings are from Eminem, Swae Lee and Foxy Brown who killed that **** but all the songs are incredible. The Queen Is Back!

Even thought there are tracks like rich sex or sir, where we can listen to a more modern yet average trap sound, she goes out of her comfort zone. There are fun tracks like Barbie Dreams where we really can enjoy the clever lyrical content Nicki has.On this album Nicki Minaj proves that she is not scared of testing new sounds, she doesn’t necessarily look to what’s hot or not right now. It seems that she's continuing to move away from the style mass-appeal hits like Superbass, Starships & Anaconda and back toward a more serious less cartoonish aesthetic and it works.     Most rappers NEVER top their debut album. Today? I believe Ms. Minaj has outdone ALL of her albums. Sonically, Lyrically, creatively? There isn't an album that has been released in the last few YEARS that can compare/surpass. Nicki's reign as the queen of rap and hip hop is timeless and like none other.

    This album is the best of 18, is the best of Nicki's career and the history of Rap. I can not get enough of listening, the songs are in great harmony, I love that.

    A masterpiece.

    Although Nicki brags a lot on this album, I get it. She's been in the game for almost 10 years, and she's still doing the damn thing, still breaking records. The album is excellent, my personal favourites being LLC, Good Form, Ganja Burns and Majesty. Barbie Dreams is also a genius track.

    On Queen, Nicki spends a lot of time ordering beheadings--which are fun, but get old quick--rather than showing us why she is and should be queen. Here's to hoping the next album gives us a more earnest, more raw glimpse of the head that wears the crown.

    When Minaj leans into her untouchable strengths as a rapper, things get really exciting and an album of tracks as strong as "LLC" or "Barbie Dreams" would be one for the books. As it stands, however, Queen is another chapter of Minaj's good but largely meandering and inconsistent full-length album output.

    Queen's title implies it's meant to function as a coronation for one of the biggest rappers ever, but it's more the sound of Minaj fighting to keep that crown on her head.
