    The lack of technique gives Reasons to Live an unfinished quality that suggests there's either more depth than there appears to be, or an underlying emptiness deriving from too much feral energy and not enough songwriting.

    At 42 minutes, Reasons begins to drag a bit, and it may not bring Klein the attention she enjoyed with her former band, but it is a sonically captivating and promising first effort that reveals itself a little more with each listen.

    So far, after a couple listens, the sound of this album is stunning...not original (what is these days?), but beautiful.
