Jul 25, 2023Recovery is Eminem's most commercial album and that holds him back from the style of music that he came to be respected by in the first place.
Best track: No Love (feat. Lil Wayne)
Worst track: Space Bound
Best feature: Lil Wayne -
Jul 19, 2023Review só pra lembrar a nota que eu dei pro album:
album ruinzinho, agora só escrever pra passar dos 75 caracteres. -
Jan 4, 2023Great great album , Eminem is totally back from drugs , just fire , i love it.

Oct 2, 2022a great album that is an actual great way of rebranding Eminem in a way that doesn't make him sound like a tired horrible way of rebranding a funny sounding slim shady
-
Aug 7, 2021This album is a little overpraised but it's still pretty good.
Best songs: Going through Changes

Apr 2, 2021...
I can't start.
Wait... oh, okay, I just have to be honest.
I don't like it.
I have to say why? Well, I dislike the lyrics.
Better?
Yeah, whatever. Just be on your way. -

Jul 8, 2020This is a great cd. Eminem rocks and for all of you people who do not like him, then there is something wrong with you in the head.
-
Jun 21, 2020In my opinion - his best album. I good remember those times when i was a teenager, hanging out in the streets with my friends and don't care about nothing, just enjoying life at it's fullest sense of a word. I guess that was the only album where Eminem was speaking from his heart, without using any alter-egos, that's one of the main thing that make this album so unique, still to this day.
-
Apr 5, 2020This album reminded me of eminem show when it was released, not one track i could skip from start to finish. It was a real come back record.
-
Mar 25, 2020Loved this album. Emotionally Impactful it was. Best Songs on the album would be Going Through Changes, Seduction, and Love The Way You Lie
-
Mar 24, 2020Although it's a great project, I hate to think about it cuz this was the seed to turn pop. And I blame all those who praised it 'because it was a little poppy-flavored.' It made him continue that until forever. It changed him forever ffs. Relapse >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Recovery

-
Feb 23, 2020disappointing, too many pop sounds and singing. There's good songs in there like cold wind blows, no love. going through changes (the hook is whack) and maybe MAYBE not afraid, but these songs can't save the entire project

Jan 23, 2020Insant classic. This is the best album of all time. Nothing can be better than this. This is the greatest piece of music.
-
Jan 22, 2020The emotion and heart put on this album and great lyrical display by Eminem makes the album one of the classics in hip hop

Jan 20, 2020Not my favourite but some good tunes on here. Better than Relapse. Fave tracks; Changes, Not afraid, Love the way you lie
-
Jan 19, 2020Better album than most of some pop albums. This is the truly comeback for Eminem.
-
Jul 28, 2019Recovery holds some of the irredeemable traits that most 2010s Eminem projects are littered with, but the couple of classic songs have to drag up the rating (Not Afraid, Beautiful) to average. A pretty bad overall effort as a whole, but it's still not worth bashing for the few shining moments it possesses.
-
Jul 13, 2019A good album with a few too many pop songs on there but none the less, an enjoyable album with some amazing tracks such as 'No Love' 'Session One' and 'Going Through Changes'
-
Feb 13, 2019Eminem still proves that he's one of the best Rappers in the game and his best album since the Eminem Show. Definley love this album. I highly recommended it.

Nov 20, 2018Recovery is in my personal opinion the only eminem album that I LOVE all of the songs, I just feel is energy passing trough me when is rapping, and honestly is one of few rappers that does that to me.
-
Nov 7, 2018
-
Nov 1, 2018People say this is too commercial, too pop oriented etc. but I feel this is **** amazing. I'm not going to list songs, because i like every song on the album. 10/10
-
May 14, 2018
-
Mar 4, 2018In this album, he was more honest and apologetic than his other projects. I love this side of Eminem. I don't like Slim Shady at all.
-
Feb 4, 2018the first listen to this album i wasn't feeling it, but then it grow up on me and really well, the best project from 2010 definitely
-
Dec 25, 2017Corny. Just really really corny. In my opinion this is when em started REALLY losing touch with the true rap world. No Love is dope though.
-
Aug 8, 2017I'm starting to think that this USER SCORE is more accurate than the critic's score. He once again proves that he is the one of the greatest. Love The Way You Lie - eternal song. Not Afraid, Space Bound & No Love are great too.
-
Jul 18, 2017good album.....................................................................................................................................................................
-
Jul 1, 2017A few standout tracks but an overall mediocre album. Definitely one of Eminem's most radio friendly albums and much of the music on this album sounds forced.
-
May 23, 2017I honestly think this is one of Em's better albums, many people would disagree with that but this album has many very good very different songs.
Best songs: Cold Wind Blows / Talkin' To Myself / No Love -
Jan 25, 2016I thought that this was a pretty good album it shows how good a lyricist Eminem actually is and how much better these songs are than most artists these days yes he has produced better but it is still a solid and album and one to enjoy.
-
Jan 21, 2016few songs fall short due to poor production. eminem shows he can still deliver hard hitting bars with aggression and good storytelling. the pop oriented ones i didnt like much due to eminems terrible attempt of singing the hooks. however some of the songs off here i did enjoy. may not add up to his past work. but still shows he hasnt lost it.
-
Jan 11, 2016This was one of the first albums i got a physical copy of and back in the day i was listening to it every day. Now i realize that is not as good as i thought but remains a pretty decent one , maybe the best after the eminem show.

Apr 23, 2015After a brief return to his roots as Slim Shady, the Eminem side of Marshall returns on this album with force! He seems happy, reborn and passionate on every single song and his rhymes are as sharp as ever.

Feb 26, 2015Eminem was going to earn money through this album.
Yeah, he earned it.
But.. where is 'sincere', 'real' Eminem?
Couldn't find it ya.
Although many Stans appreciated this album, I think that it's over for Eminem.. -
Jan 27, 2015This is one of Eminem's worst albums, but it is still amazing just like Eminem. You will find plenty of great songs on here. .
-
Dec 27, 2014What's the matter ? Uninspired ? Further more beginning to be commercial as **** with featuring we didn't want. Pretty disgusting album actually. Poor

Jul 17, 2014I thought the album was well done. The songs have a rhythm. It features a emotional introspective. Album is heavily layered. While some songs had a good melody the theme isn't told quite right
-
Mar 16, 2014With Recovery Eminem recovers after giving Encore and Relapse.
Not Afraid is a courage giving Anthem.
Love the way you lie tells about complex love-hate relationship. -
Feb 13, 2014Eminem is easily one of the greatest musicians ever. I like most of the album but it does not grab me like his previous albums even MMLP2 too. Eminem experimented on a new level by not presenting Slim Shady on Recovery. The opening to the album "Cold Wind Blows" is easily one of his best tracks. The album exceeds in lyricism and it's a well crafted one but it did not grab me like his other albums.

Nov 14, 2013Stunning...the best album since maybe The Eminem show. And I'm not just talking Eminem.....
Can't match the IMPACT of MMLP1 (you can't be the first man on the moon ever since Neil Armstrong went there) but in terms of this man's genius this could be #1. -
Nov 8, 2013Compared to his other albums, this is better than Encore, but not as good as his early stuff. All he does on this album is screaming rap lyrics and repeating the same subject matter on almost all of his song. The only song that I legitimatley enjoyed was "On Fire". People who are saying that this is his best album since Eminem Show is dead wrong.
-
Nov 6, 2013Em should have hung up his hat a long time ago.
He isn't a rapper anymore, he's a pop star.
This album was the first of his that I have to say I will never recommend to anyone, ever. -
Nov 5, 2013His performance is flawless as usual but the content and beats aren't up to par with his other releases, in no way a bad album but slightly disappointing if you are an Eminem fan
-
Nov 4, 2013Overated as getting good ratings beacuse he is white. He can't rap for Stop illeagaly downloaing his albums and get Kanye West's, as he is the best.
-
Oct 2, 2013Pretty good. Great time for all of the boys. I would listen all day, everyday. To be honest, I have a lot of fun with this album. I put it on late at night and dance around the living room without any worries in the world. Thank you Eminem! You are cutie pie!
-
Aug 14, 2013I do not like this album. Eminem made a bad recovery, because his albums before are way better. I can't even stand to listen to some of these songs ("No Love"), and it is just a train wreck.
-
Aug 3, 2013this is the best Eminem album next to the Eminem show and the lab ep EMINEM 4 LYFE

-
May 27, 2013This album is ok. His lyricism is great but his flow is not as good as it used to be and the production is poor but this album will appeal to the mainstream audience.
-
May 16, 2013his best ablum ever that will never beat ever
-
Mar 24, 2013Some songs like "Love the Way You Lie" and "Not Afraid" were fantastic, but a lot of the other tracks weren't very impressing. I would have liked that Eminem would not have used all of those background vocals in his songs because he clearly has enough talent to go without them except when he is singing instead of rapping.
-
Mar 11, 2013This album is but another disappointment, not one of the songs was enjoyable on this. His flow seems strange, he doesn't really rap its just like yelling the entire time with terrible rhymes. Though most would disagree I believe this album is worse than Relapse, I got the impression he wasn't even trying with his lyrics. If your a fan listen to it but you'll be disappointed.
-
Dec 27, 2012Even though it's evident that Eminem is still getting back on his feet, his flow is back to normal (which is incredible and unmatched) and his lyrical brilliance is finally exposed. The emotional content is resonant even though the tone inconsistencies are awkward and not smooth in "The Eminem Show" and "MMLP". The bottom line is I can't stop listening to this album repeatedly.
-
Dec 23, 2012eminem doesn't fail to impress with his latest studio album, recovery. im thinking of seeing him at the reading festival next year. and as i always like to say, **** nicki minaj and other mainstream rappers like drake, this is REAL rap!
-
Nov 9, 2012Dark and twisted, yet heartfelt and passionate, this is Eminem's best release. It burns with emotion, and really cuts to your core.
-
Jul 21, 2012My personal favourite from the best rapper that ever lived. low points WTP, Almost Famous and Untitled (I still like the songs but there not as good as the others.) Best songs are On Fire, Not Afraid, Seduction, No Love (my favourite), Space Bound, Cinderella Man, 25 To Life and Love The Way You Lie.
-

-
Jun 5, 2012After his relatively weak "Relapse" album, and after the short break from the music scene, Eminem comes back with a solid return to form with his best album since "The Eminem Show".
-

Feb 23, 2012Eminem attempted to make a comeback after Relapse (Which I Think Is better Than Recovery). It was a great comeback he performed with 2 #1 hits and a seven week #1 album run. But for me it was an Aight album. I really love this album but i would take Relapse Over Recovery Any day of the Year.
-
Jan 13, 2012A lot better then Relapse but I did not like how Eminem sold out on this album (Lil Wayne, Rihanna, and Pink...come on). Also it only had a few good songs, The rest was trash.
-
Dec 25, 2011I haven't been such a big fan of Eminem or Rap in general for a long time know but when I heard this, I honestly lost a lot of respect for him, jesus this is awful this is going to spawn a fan base that obviously isn't familiar with his earlier and much better work that was very much a fan of but all that is now lost in this latest album.
-
Dec 22, 2011I enjoyed it. Recovery has some really good songs, and I think that the theme is way better than on Relapse. Even tough songs like ''You're Never Over'' feature great themes, Em isn't a singer, but when he raps like on ''Won't Back Down'' or ''Untitled'' it's freaking amazing.Kill'd it once again but he had better.
-
Dec 13, 2011
-
Dec 10, 2011Why so bad reviews. Eminem brings a new and fresh really good taste to his rap music. Loved it. No Love, Not Afraid, Cinderalla Man, and Love the way you Lie are the highlights.
-
Nov 24, 2011Great album, haters cant hate that this dude is beyond anyones level. his lyrics are too good and just cuz he doesnt talk about beating women/drugs/homos doesnt mean he doesnt have talent, those who want to listen to that. which i still do, go listen to slim shady lp, marshall mathers lp (which is my fav album). recovery is still better than ENCORE...which was his worst.
-
Nov 16, 2011I really like Eminem's new songs, I don't understand why anyone would hate this album. All I see is people saying "What is this? I want the old Em back!". Listen, there never was old or new Eminem, there is only Eminem and his decisions. Every song on this album is worth listening, although there are a couple songs that get tiring already after listened to 5 times or so.
-
Nov 12, 2011One of my favorite albums to date, it was a much better follow up album after Relapse. I still listen to this album frequently even a year after its release.
-
Oct 22, 2011
-
Sep 9, 2011It's of course not Em's best album and it's far from the level of the Marshall Mathers LP or the Slim Shady LP. However Eminem gets credit for putting one of his best album since the Eminem Show and still being, after more than 10 years of career, one of the best out there.
-
Sep 5, 2011
-
Aug 31, 2011This album was an unspeakably huge improvement over Relapse with some of his deepest emotional moments and some tracks that I can't stop listening to (Space Bound & You're Never Over).
-
Aug 30, 2011I feel this album is overall a good album. Better than Encore and Relapse, but not like the first three. I don't like the idea of doing a song with Rihanna though. But still, a good album
-
Aug 18, 2011this album is the best album ever. love the way you lie is the best track ever. this is eminem coming back to form. much more serious and emotional album. eminem proves that he is the king of hip hop after releasing this album. just love it.
-
Jul 21, 2011
-
Jun 29, 2011"Recovery" is a very good album with several standout tracks: "Not Afraid", "Love The Way You Lie", "W.T.P" and more. Some of the other tracks, however, are simply boring.
-
Jun 28, 2011
-
Jun 23, 2011This ranks 5th in my list of best Eminem Albums right behind "The Marshall Mathers LP", "The Eminem Show", "Relapse" and "The Slim Shady LP." I'm not trying to knock it either because that's pretty elite company in my opinion.
Awards & Rankings
-
Jan 7, 2011No matter how cleverly he's rhyming, which varies, he could use subject matter beyond married-to-the-game and his traditional obsessions. But with Shady in the shadows, rarely are these themes lifted by Em's long-recessive sense of play.
-
Much of Recovery centers around such themes as romantic devotion and anxiety, but the resulting material rings unsurprisingly hollow.
-
Sadly, a piecemeal approach to production (Dr Dre has just one credit) leaves the album lacking an abiding mood and drowning in fashionable soft-rock samples.
