    Despite a dark facade, Riposte has a soft pop center, even if the two instruments often get lost in culs-de-sac and Dyer's voice becomes overwhelming as its own instrument over 14 songs. Cut four or five tracks, and you've got something singular.

    These two people need to study music, sound and its effect, rhythm and chord structure. Their performance is like that of a really lousy Jr.These two people need to study music, sound and its effect, rhythm and chord structure. Their performance is like that of a really lousy Jr. High School garage band. It's not creative or innovative when sounds are thrown together via electronics. If it is cacophony, that's not music. The bass player knows exactly two rhythmic figures and chord changes, and puke might be tone deaf.… Full Review »
