Sep 28, 2011A nice transition from Enema of the State. There's still the poop jokes that feel like leftovers from its predecessors, but there's some mature work here with (one of my personal favorites) "Stay Together For The Kids." Fans who expect them to keep making records like EOTS and Cheshire Cat, might as well go listen to Weird Al records.

DanM.Jul 25, 2001Blink 182 continues to be one of the funniest groups in mainstream music, and they continue to make music that may not be great, but is sure fun to listen to!

MusicMavenJul 3, 2001Maybe the Brits are just cranky because they haven't produced good punk revival bands? The NME review is weighted too heavily. Ignore it. If you are into Blink 182's style, this album will not disappoint.

FlakeytheLeperJun 28, 2003It's a pretty god album. At moment it is as good as Enema of the State, but overall, it can't match the all around quality of Enema. Basicaly, it isn't the follow up I was looking for.

timmyfApr 28, 2004im not one for punk or pop, but this cd is great. its probly cuz blink is the catchiest band out there, so none of the songs sound terrible. i say its an instant classic and it caused me to go out and buy every other cd that theyve put out

EricDec 19, 2007This may be the best blink 182 cd out there. It is the quintessential punk cd of the 90's-00's. Every song on the cd is great and this is the last cd to have a "dirty" song on it. Which is ok because they out grew their juvenile image. A must have for any blink fan or punk fan.

Nov 4, 2011I love this album. It's blink-182 matured just enough to let in new fans whilst not disrespecting the old ones. Standouts include Story of a Lonely Guy and Stay Together For the Kids.

Sep 7, 2012Pop!! Hahaha, hilarious guys. This is definately their best album, I mean I thought that enema of th state was good but really 'poppy'. This album is about 15 times better.

May 2, 2017My second favourite blink album behind 'Enema of the State'. Released when Blink still did fast paced, fun songs before Tom Delonge went a little nuts and started wanting to be Bono.
-
Jul 31, 2019simply a great punk rock album that describes the top blink quality they were trying to reach and would try to repeat "failing" since Tom left twice.
following that same formula that worked in this album wouldn't worked -

Jul 16, 2020A pretty well written album overall, I had no skips throughout the album, but it had much more potential. This is by far the best Blink-182 album, but I wish it wasn’t!! My most favorite track is “Every Time I Look For You.” 7/10

Dec 23, 2020Classic punk rock. blink 182 at the their prime well at least for me growing up listening to them. favorite track would be "The Rock Show" if you never heard of the band then you're doing it wrong. shame on you.
-
Nov 27, 2022This **** absolute bomb. Perfect and the greatest album of all time. I can’t decide what’s better - the guitars or the lyrics.
Awards & Rankings
-
High on boyish charm and low on moral fiber, Blink's songs have all the lyrical depth of a whoopee cushion.
-
The band work so hard at it, and the music is such processed sounding mainstream rock played fast, that the album becomes a paradox: adolescent energy and rebellion made joyless.
-
They don't mess around much outside their tessitura - they like to keep everything light, fast and punchy.
