There are not many artists who span five decades, and far fewer who are still finding new places to go... that are worth the journey. TheThere are not many artists who span five decades, and far fewer who are still finding new places to go... that are worth the journey. The Other Side of Desire is an eclectic mix that mostly joins Jones's best albums. There are one or two head-scratchers. But, if the inclusion of 'Valtz De Mon Pere (Lovers' Oath)' mystifies, 'Jimmy Choos' and 'Blinded by the Hunt' hit the sweet spot. RLJ is a genre unto herself, intersecting perhaps with Steely Dan, but not "like" anyone or anything else... just comfort food for the ears. Expand
