This album really surprised me. She grew up in a very mature way, and the strongest cut is probably ''Together'', which was co-written with Chantal Kreviazuk, surprisingly. It's a little short, though.

Every music genre mixed together makes this one kick ass alternative punk cd even if it isn't super hardcore.

A great album, it is complex but yet somehow very simple.

Probably Avril's best piece of hard work. Yes, maybe some tracks fall flat like 'How does it feel'... Yes, some fall in a commercialism blow like 'He wasn't' but we sense there is effort, in tracks like 'My happy ending' and 'Nobody's home'. This isn't dissapointing AT ALL. 1. A good, if slightly disappointing, follow-up.
  2. Under My Skin is a bit awkward, sometimes sounding tentative and unsure, sometimes clicking and surging on Avril's attitude and ambition.
  3. Both more satisfying and more formulaic.
