AaronFeb 27, 2005the biggest corporate rock group in the history of music? are you insane? that has to be one of the most uninformed comments i've ever read posted on the internet. well done. you really must know your phish history to be so knowledgable, especially concerning the band's roots and beginning. what a moron.

patrickmJul 10, 2004One of Phish's better studio albums, but does that mean much? No, they are a live band outfit, arguably the best. So, it shouldn't surprise anybody that it's a weak album. Yet, "the connection" is great. They tried a new type of groove, going much more mainstream pop. And, unfortunately, it fell short.

A workmanlike effort that wont do anything to harm the Phish legacy, but isnt notable enough to make me wish that the band wasnt packing it in.

It's the fragmented experiments that keep Undermind from being a straightforward batch of songs, and they ultimately provide a much-needed balance.
