Reptar have pieced emotions together, both euphoric and heartbreaking, to create a debut that, although perhaps too varied in places, is a great starting point for the quartet.

Body Faucet is an improvement over Oblangle in nearly every respect, but it's definitely not as surprising as that lovely little EP.

A bouncy, flamboyant album packed with danceable jams. [Jun 2012, p.155]

It's definitely enjoyable, but it's also inconsequential.

The ideas are all there, they just don't fit together properly yet. [Sep 2012, p.110]

The potential is undoubtedly there, but Reptar's debut album suffers badly from the band's chaotic approach, as well as Ulicny's occasionally grating vocals.

It's not so much that the songs lack shape, it's that this suggests Reptar lack conviction – every song borrows from something else, something vaguely similar but different enough to make this an incoherent mess, albeit one with oddball pretensions.

Really awesome album. Tracks 6 and 12 are a little stale, but still listenable. Most of these songs have weird structures. So, they are not just your typical party rock group.

Tracks 8 and 10 are probably my favorite for the way they develop.
